Mindless but for one

Strange abiss
So reachable yet so far
From reach of those
That seek nothing else
Precious is this love
To fly wrapped in silk and float forever
As I stand on the brink of love
On the precipice
I feel afraid
For one kiss will knock me over
Into the floating dream
But what if it were to break?
This abyss seems endless
To float is heaven
But to fall?
Hell?
I look and see others
As I
Daring to find which will be
The path they take
Do we strike first in dare
Or are we to stay on the edge
Safe
For those to kiss us would seem

But which first
Or will we be passed over
For another
