For the last seven days, I keep seeing all sorts of stuff in the shape of scorpions. So far I've seen a piece of rubber from a shoe or something in the shape of a scorpion, a toy plastic scorpion on a student's desk, a few other items I can't remember. Then, today, I sat in my wife's car and on the passenger seat is a brand new copy of a book with a big silver scorpion on it!

I sent myself a Word Doc from my work computer to my Yahoo email.

I got home and Downloaded the Word doc. I made changes to the doc then I clicked the save icon. I forgot to select Save As and Internet Explorer put my work into a random file folder.

I used the command in the Run command - shell:cache\content.ie5

I was able to see a lot of alphanumeric files created by Internet Explorer, however, I'm not seeing the other alphanumeric file folders created each time I experimented with using the 'Save As' option with other Wrod Docs I sent myself.

SO, How do I get Windows to let me See ALL the files on my computer? (specifically files that would be holding my Word Doc captive ?)

A relaitve is stationed at a Navy Base in Naples, Italy. Supposedly, the reason it takes so long to reply to emails in Naples is that the internet is very old fashioned and slow moving. Have other people who have been to Naples feel that this is true?

I've been trying to figure out if my thoughts on this are correct:

is it accurate to think that if you have two rubberized rollers touching at an instantaneous point and one roller has a circumference of 3 cm and the other has a circumference of 4 cm, that since the LCM of 3 & 4 = 12 ; then it stands to reason that the 3 cm roller must rotate four times and the 4 cm roller must rotate three times in order for the two rollers to meet again at the initial point ?

Anyone have a repellent remedy for cats without having to kill the little monsters? I sure am getting sick and tired of the smell of their poop and the smell of the male cats who spray in my backyard and on the side of my house as well as in my front yard.

you don't have to wait for something in your life to be perfected before you start another task? A lot of times, people get stuck in the thinking that they can NOT get working on something new unless they have perfect order in something else in their life. This is known as Black and White Thinking, but I'm needing another idiom that better states what I'm trying to say here !

I took my starter, alternater and the battery into Autozone, and they ALL passed inspection. I replaced the starter solenoid, and various battery cables. I cleaned the posts and clamps as well. BUT STILL, I turn the key and all I get is a click coming from the starter. The engine doesn't even turn over at all!

All the accessories work just fine.

I'm using a vintange Hanimex Praktica camera. I suspect that the camera body back door might be damaging the negatives, or possibly the camera is allowing light to leak in.

If you have experience with vintage cameras, what is your experience with prints coming out looking dingy and partially blury on the right side of the print?

this insect bit my ten year old son. examined it under our microscope. Its features are:

tip to tail = 1.8 cm = 18 mm

long narrow abdomen, approx 8 or 9 segments, very flexible

exactly six legs, but very short - stubby legs

very short antennea

mouth has mandibles looks like leaf cutting type

eyes on side of head, solid dark eyes

head is same width as body

NO obvious segmentation of abdomen, thorax and head

while crawling on my son's bedroom floor, it moved in s-shaped patterns

what's more after looking closely it does NOT have pinchers (aka Cerci) instead it has tube-like appendages at the terminal end of the abdomen. The tube-like appendages have haris coming off of them, but very short hairs.

The width of the body is about 1 mm and the back is very dark brown much like an Earwig, it's underbelly is caramel color.

compared it to the order Proturan and it did not meet the descriptions. I also compared it to Diplura as well as Dermaptera but both cases no match

having difficulty with converting iTune songs

trying to convert mp3 into WMA to play on new Philips GoGear using a Free Trial Version Mp3 to WMA converter program. ONLY SOME songs will convert, the songs without the protected symbol are converting !

Don't know how to remove the protected status on the rest of my songs. Can these be set to unprotected or NO ?????

Does iTunes have certain songs that can only be played on iPods? (and will not be allowed on other players?- Bunch of Bull Sh**t if true !!! >: - (

Here's why I feel that there really isn't such thing as "Free Will":

I have an opportunity to earn a second 4-year degree which I really desire, but pursuing it will most likely cause me too loose my marriage, and there's no guarantee that I will finish the program (in Applied Math and Finance).

I'll have to take student loans, but after I earn the degree, I will be making double the income ON The OTHER HAND

I have been offered a full-time teaching position at a public school paying me just an 'okay' salary. But If I earn the Applied Math and Finance Degree, I'll be making double that, but I will most likely have to kiss my wife and kids goodbye (She just doesn't want to scrape by anymore) (it's going to take four more years to finish)

I'm already a mortgage and commercial loan broker.

was cutting my hair today?

I had a hair stylist today do my hair, but the entire time she was pressing her body up agains me. I tried to just ignore it thinking she had a job to do, but after a while I began to wonder if she was doing it intentionally. There was even one point where I think it got a little bit much and my pulse started to elevate. But I calmed myself down and I convienced myself that I was just imagining things, she was just trying to do her job. But I've never had a hairstylist rub up against me so much.

Maybe, there's just certain stylists that work that way and I shouldn't have gotten the wrong idea.

I'm not going to seek her out again, I just want to know if I was totally misunderstanding ???
