  • Need help with German electric oven?

    We are stationed in Germany and I'm having a little difficulty using the ovens out here. It did have a manual but naturally it's in German and I can't read it. I'm trying to figure out how to bake in it. I tried to make some pumpkin bread the other day and while the top looked done, when I went to take it out of the tin, it was still gooey on the bottom. It's like it didn't even get any heat.

    The oven has 2 dials on it. One with the temperature control and the other with little pictures on it. If anyone has experience with german ovens and can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.
