  • If spoiled milk can make you ill, why doesn't curds or whey make you sick?

Ok so I made some cheese by using the acid and heat method of seperating the curds from the whey. So I have my cheese...and the milk plasma (whey) is left...

I don't understand though what is the difference between me eating only one, or both of them, or drinking spoiled milk?

Does the process of seperating them (chemical reaction) take away the toxic factor?

  • Howany times can I breath my breath.?

I will be doing some snorkleing and I have a BCD that I can use to inhale and exhale my air... I'm wondering how many times I can do this before the air in my lungs becomes stale and has too heavy a concentration of CO2 or too low a concentration of oxygen.

  • Extending Underwater Time?

I'd like to do some snorkeling this summer but I'd like to extend my underwater time and depth. I'm not interested in a scuba tank at this point. I'm wondering if there are any rebreath bladders around.. and how many extra seconds breathing into a bladder could extend under water time - eg. breath out into the bladder then inhale back through it.

  • Illinois Toll Way out of Country?

    Hi,

I'm from out of country, while travelling through Illinois I think I may have missed a toll I was suppose to pay. Basically though no information was given, toll points I've travelled on in the past have had a barrier to cross, but illinois had none, and I didn't know to stop or feel safe in stopping suddently in traffic. Also normally toll roads you only need to pay a toll to get on the road, not pay at multiple points along the road.

Also when entering at the non manned station it has the IPASS symbol on it.. I wasn't sure if this meant I now was IPASS and didn't need to stop for the other tolls.

There was no where this was explained while along the road, and it seems very unfair to out of state or out of country drivers to make a open toll system, without knowing how the system works or having a stops at all entries to the roadway where information is given, since no other state has had this system for interstates I really don't understand what Illinois is doing, it seems totally like bad business practice and even dangerous to not give notice ahead of time, with a "cash and IPASS" sign without an explanation for motorists not local.

Will they send a ticket to my out of country address, as that is where the plates are registered to, eg. Nicaragua?

  • Trip in US, and return?

So I'm taking a trip to Minnesota and am considering heading to California after --- is it worth the extra week to drive to Cali, to see the pacific for the first time?

Second up is I am considering heading back through a side road around Thunder Bay, I figure if the road is open we are allowed to cross it, but I geuss you'd need to report to the nearest border point after. I won't actually have anything to declare that isn't exempt.. and consitutionally I have the right to enter and leave canada freely as far as I'm aware as I have canadian citizenship.. I'm wondering if you are allowed to enter canada through a non primary entree point legally? eg. if you were in the water, could you dock somewhere on the coast before going to a port of entry?
