  • How to lose weight the healthy way?

I used to think having a baby was an excuse for carrying extra weight. However, my "baby" is turning 2 next month! There are no more excuses. I have a gym membership and i love walking on the treadmill and using the machines. But i still am not eating right. I want to lose weight in a healthy way and believe I am starting on the right track.

What are some tips that you have?

    Have you lost weight?

Thanks in advance! I'm on my way to being a fun mommy and getting my life back!

  • If i buy something and re-sell to make profit, what should i sell it for?

How would i solve a problem like this. If i buy an item and want to re-sell it, what should i sell it for if i want to make a 150%profit. This is hypothetical.

If i buy something for 1.75 and want to make a 150%profit, how much should i sell it for? How would i figure this problem out?

    Thanks in advance!

  • What time to bring a 15 month old trick or treating?

I am so excited that my little one will be able to experience her first trick-or-treating this year. When do you think is a good time to start? I don't to be the only ones out, but i don't want it to get to dark. How old are your kids and what time are you bringing them out tonight? Or if you aren't going out tonight, what time did you go out in years past?

    Thanks in advance!

  • I can't call it a reception?

So i posted a question about food for my reception and someone said i can't call it a reception if the guests are bringing food. But here's the thing... i can't afford a caterer. My neighborhood is really close and for parties they always call and ask what they can make. For my best friends wedding she did the same. Soo.. he said if the guests bring the food you have to call it an after party. But it's probably 1/4 of the guests who are going to be bringing a dish. I don't want to call it an after party.... :(

  • Food for a wedding reception?

I asked this question yesterday and only got one response. I was wondering if there are more people out there with ideas!! Help please :)

I am getting married August 21 of this year and we are looking to do a lot ourselves since we don't have that much money. Also, we don't want to ask my parents for any money. Our reception is going to be held outside at my Aunt's house under a tent. Our neighborhood is really close and for parties each guest makes a dish of food. That's what we are going to do for our wedding, buffet style. But we want to have hors d'oeurvres before the dinner, like a cocktail hour. What are some cheap summery foods that we can have for this?

Some of my ideas are pigs in a blanket, deviled eggs, fresh fruit and veggies, shrimp cocktail, cheese and crackers, swedish meatballs and bruschetta.

Congratulations to all the brides-to-be out there!

  • How did all you new moms out there lose that baby belly!?

I had a baby girl in July and she is the light of my life. However, she is starting to rollover and it made me realize that she will be soooo mobile soon. I want to be the kind of mom who will push her on a swing and play with her at the playground. But i'm afraid that if i don't lose weight soon, i won't be able to do that.

I'm joining weight watchers tomorrow morning because it is the only time when my husband is home to watch her (and i get a little me time :) )
