  • flex pipe gasket on '95 Taurus?

    I dropped the flex pipe to test the cats and am ready to reset it. The parts stores don't carry the flat metal gasket and says it's been replaced with a round ring like what the exhaust manifold requires.

    I bought one but haven't removed it from the sealed plastic bag since I'm leery of it breaking apart down there. Has anyone had any experience using these?
