I'm looking at LEDs, and they come in 3mm, 5mm, and 10mm. Size and weight are not an issue. They have exactly the same internals (same light output, color, etc.). I will be using it to light a clear case.

Will this hurt the screw or will it fit just fine?

I bought a printer from a guy, and all of the ink cartridges in it were expired (the printer told me), but he gave me a sealed black ink cartridge in the retail box and bag. Could I replace the (expired) black ink cartridge that is installed in the printer with this factory sealed (but old) cartridge?

They're the only place that delivers, but their website is retarted. Every time I click something, it does nothing at all. It just brings me back to the address thing, even though I already saved an adress, it does nothing. Once I do that, when I click on the menu, pick a pizza, click start order, it does nothing at all. I'm building a new computer soon, and I was thinking about where to put it. I will be using the cooler master haf x case (21.7" long by 9.1" wide) and megahalems cpu cooler and doing some overclocking. I will also be using a gtx 770, I know they haven't come out yet, but I will build my computer when they do, its the next generation gtx 570. I have a built in bookshelf 14" to the right side of a wooden file cabinet, and a wall 7" behind it. The file cabinet is 19" long and 17" wide. I also have a very cheap 3' long by 1' wide table on a thin metal frame with a removable composite top. It is pretty wobbly (but it probably won't fall over) and doesn't look too strong (my case is 31.6 lbs without anything in it). It has .5" diameter legs. It has a wall directly to the right of it with a 1' inset window 8" above the base. It has a wall 43" behind it and an eliptical at the far away from the wall behind it side 6" to the left.

So my question is: Which way should I orient my case, on the file cabinet with the rear exhaust facing the wall, the rear exhaust facing me (it would be hanging off the edge more if the exhaust faced me or my monitor). Or, should I put it on the less stable, but farther away from the wall table? Sorry if I gave too much information.

My laptop runs at 60-70 degrees Celsius when I use it, and I want to get a cooling pad. I cleaned out the heatsink on my inspiron 1420 and there was a giant compressed dust bunny which was causing the computer to idle at 60, at load it was 80-90. I use it for skype (on my lap) and some web browsing (on the table). Also, what's the difference between the massive23 lx and st?

I'm getting a tv tuner, and I'm deciding between the hdhomerun prime, 2 hdhomeruns, or a ceton infinitv 4. My computer has plenty of pci-e slots. Would the hdhomerun prime slow down my internet? It uses lan to transfer video to the computer, but will that slow down the internet of another computer? I sometimes play games (bf3 mostly) while my parents watch tv, and I wouldn't want that to be slower. Also, is there any disadvantage to getting 2 hdhomeruns instead of 1 hdhomerun prime? The hdhomerun is $90, while the prime is $210, and I'd rather have 4 tuners than 3, and I definately don't want 2.

At school, we can't install any extensions, so I might put google chrome on a flash drive, download my extensions, and use that. Are there any disadvantages to doing this? Also, all our data is on servers and most of the computers have pentium processors. Should I get a faster flash drive for doing this? Right now I have the cruzer 4gb red, should I get the patriot xporter xt rage?

I was going to get the haf x for a while, until I saw the phantom while searching for something on amazon. It's $109, while the haf x is ~$180, so its a lot cheaper. But how does it perform, which has better cooling, I'm going to use a gtx 770 and an i5 2500k ivy bridge equivalent with a megahalems cooler and san ace fan. If they have the same cooling, or the phantom has slightly worse cooling, I'll get the phantom, it looks way better and costs a lot less. So, which one is best?

I have all of these, and I was wondering which provides the best protection and uses the least resources. I will uninstall avg or malwarebytes if I have to.

I'm getting an electric shaver and I want one that's corded so I don't have to buy a new one once the batteries stop charging fully. What's the best one? And also, how long do the norelco sensotouch 3d's batteries last?

I have a wndr3300 router right now and I am getting 9-10mbps or 19-20mbps, depending. I use the 2.4ghz frequency, because the 5ghz has only 3 instead of 5 bars. I am getting the same speeds right next to my router and upstairs. On my wired connection to my desktop, I am getting 35mbps with speedboost (www.speedtest.net) and 19.5mbps with the 100mb file on testmy.net. The upload speed is the same 5mbps on both computers on speedtest.net. To get these, I am using an old, overheating, heat damaged inspiron 1420, which I don't usually use, but my dad uses a better computer for work. I want to know if he would benefit from getting a new router.

I have a dell studio xps 9000 with an intel i7 920 (2.66 ghz) and a 512mb gtx 260, it has 9gb of ram and a 500gb hard drive, a dvd burner, a dvd reader, and windows 7 home premium. I was thinking of putting it on amazon (I think I can get more money there than ebay) in march starting at $1299 and lowering the price by $50 until someone bought it. Should I build an ivy bridge computer and then sell it, or would it be worth it to sell it before, I have another fast computer (my parents'), but I can't game on it.

I was thinking of getting a tv tuner so we wouldn't have to pay for the cable box rental. I'm looking at dual or more tuners. My parents want to watch tv on that and I want to watch tv on my computer, I have a comfortable chair. So, what would be some disadvantages, if any of using a tv tuner instead of a cable box?

I am building a computer for my parents and they like to back up their documents, pictures, and videos. I was thinking, instead of using the extra space of an external hard drive, could I just have 2 hard drives in raid 1? It would make the reads twice as fast, and I would never have to schedule anything, and, I wouldn't have to not use the computer while it was backing up (because raid 1 is redundant). Are there any problems with this, and does the raid controller matter?

I have a 3 year old dell inspiron 531 with a 232gb hard drive. It is making a noise that I'm not sure is clicking or grinding. It doesn't happen in my dell studio xps 9000, and it happens less in my inspiron 1420, and I'm not sure what it is. It is not constant, and happens when idle a little, but much more when it is opening something. I installed quiet hdd and it didn't really fix it. I'm going to be selling it and building a new one (it's my parents' and they don't use mine), but until then, I don't know if I should back it up. My external verbatim 320gb hard drive is broken, so I can't put my stuff on that, but I was thinking of putting it on another computer or some flash drives. I just want to know if I have to.

I have the razer vespula right now and I am using it with the rat 9 at 1500 dpi with full weights. I play bf3 and do mostly running and gunning and sometimes sniping. It has gotten kinda worn out and it makes a lot of noise. I was wondering which mousepad I should get and if I should get cloth or plastic or metal, and why. I only need 10 inches or less. Also, what brands you like and if I can use the new mousepad on top of the vespula's bottom mat or if I should cut away the wrist rest from the mat. I have an antique smoothish wood desk and I want it to stay put. The most important question though is, what is the best mouse mat for gaming?

I have windows 7, and I was trying to get onto the hidden administrator account. I shut it down, started it up, pressed f8 rapidly, got to the screen, pressed safe mode, and it started. But, it just brought me to the regular log on screen, not the admin and guest no password screen. How do I get to that screen?
