recently bought a sony tunerless dvd/vcr combo player without noticing it said tunerless (stupid)

but we do have a converter box already connected to the tv. will i be able to record tv with the vcr via the converter box though?

ok here's the deal:

im in my last semester of community college and i've received two acceptance letter so far from uc davis and uc santa cruz and im still waiting on the others.

BUT

im having a lot of trouble in my math class.....basically im failing.

i got an undeniable F (less than 50% seriously) on my first test out of four not including the final. and so another one is coming up in two days but i really dont get the material. i really dont. i wrack my brains and i come up with zilch.

so i considered just dropping the course and just get a W so at least it wont be an F. but then here's the thing. im not sure if it will affect my admission to any of the colleges if i do this.

im thinking if i dont drop the chances of me getting lower than a c is pretty high, but the last day to drop is coming up fast. plus i wont know my test result until after spring break which is next week thus effectively cutting the time i have to decide to drop or not.

its like basically im stuck between failing or withdrawing and hoping no colleges withdraw their admissions when i do either.

(though the class is not a strict requirement and i have one other w from before)

i really dont know what to do.

and was it worth it? plus do u have any other recommendations for other 4 gb flash based media players if you dont think it is.

im a 21 year old single college student who is claimed as a dependent by my parents in California. i have been working part time and my income for 2007 was over $2000 dollars. do i have to file?

i was wondering in what order all the schools in the UC system would have in terms of rankings from best to worst. im guessing berkeley would be the top and merced last (cause its new).

i was planning on double majoring in political science and economics . so i was wondering which UC has a good reputation for those majors.
