Can someone please tell me why this is considered a sentence fragment and offer suggestions on how to fix it?
An Investigation Concerning the Legal Ramifications of Using the Internet as a Means for Determining Employment Eligibility.
It's the title for my research proposal for my graduation research project and Microsoft Word insists it is a fragment but for the life of me I can't figure out how it is or what to do to fix it.
3 AnswersHomework Help1 decade agowhat snack food and old fashion soda pop has the same name as a body part?
My son is working on an assignment for science. The teacher has given them a list of "riddles" and all of the answers are body parts. We have figured out all but two of them, snack food and old fashioned soda pop. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
2 AnswersHomework Help1 decade agoIf an atom has 3 electrons in its second shell and its first shell is filled it will tend to?
A. lose 3 electrons from its second shell
B. lose all of the electrons from its first shell
C. lose all of the elctrons from its first and second shells
D. gain electrons in its second shell
Personally, I think the answer is A. however, my book doesn't give an example that fits this question. The main reason I think this is the book doesn't discuss losing electrons in the first shell so that eliminates the possibility of B. or C. leaving the answer D. which is eliminated because where will it gain the extra electrons from. Further more the shells only gain electrons when they are trying to stabalize by having 8. I don't know, I could be wrong, but my logic makes sense to me.

1 AnswerChemistry1 decade agoDoes anyone remember Joe Mahoney Bologna? ?
I've looked on the internet and can't find a reference to it anywhere. I'm not sure I have the spelling correct which could be why I found nothing. If I remember correctly they had a jingle that went "his name is Joe Mahony and he makes the best bologna in the whole wide world." When I found nothing on the internet I began to wonder if I was crazy and made it all up in my mind so any help would be appreciated..
4 AnswersOther - Food & Drink1 decade agoA question that has been plaguing my mind?
I am hoping that there are some folks on here who live in the Bible belt but anyone can answer my question. I'm a lesbian and I was raised in the Church of Christ (not to be confused with the Mormon faith.) For those of you who don't know, the CoC (Church of Christ) is a nondenominational fundamentalist church that is prevalent in the South. Needles to say they are anti gay. It took me years to realize I was a lesbian and come to terms with it but, now I have and I couldn't be happier. My problem is I feel like I am the only person from the CoC to ever come out of the closet and this sometimes makes me feel very alone. Intellectually I know this is unlikely but I have yet to find some one else from the CoC who is gay. My question is: is anyone out there who is gay, out of the closet preferably, and a previous CoC member or knows some one who is that I can get into contact with via e-mail and are there any support groups for gay previous CoC members and how do I get in touch with them.
