Insomniac Butterfly

Don't know why but in my dream I just took some scissors & just started to snip off my fingers 1 by 1. Had some trouble with the ring finger but eventually got that one off too. I didn't have any pain & I wasn't even thinking about what I would do with a fingerless hand... until I gathered up all my severed fingers and went to go type on the computer! I felt my amputated fingers in my other hand, they were just like meaty twig like things. I looked at my nubby hand & it finally dawned on me what I had done to myself & I freaked out. I ran sobbing to my mother & showed her my now-fingerless hand. I begged her to take me to the hospital & she just sat there. I begged & pleaded & she said she was too busy. I begged some more & she said, "too bad, it's too late, you can't reattach those fingers and you are going to have to learn to live with what you did to yourself." She wouldn't even try to comfort me; she was as cold as stone! :( There is a lot more to this dream but not enuff rm2tp

if it was on the presidential election ballot?

The premise being: if enough people voted for "None of the above" they would have to throw out all the original candidates and start over with new ones.

And no, the current president would not get to reside in the office while this was going on. It would fall to the next in line after the vice president. What do you think?

I know, it's totally weird... not to be taken literally... and it essentially means "I love you for life!" :) :) :) What are some of YOUR favorite innocent questions from out of the mouths of your babes?

She won't eat anything "weird", and I'm at my wits end - anything that even a fussy eater will eat that can soothe an upset tummy? Have tried ginger and she refused to even let it get near her mouth. :( I think we need something liquid at this point! :( :( :( I can't even get to a store for some pepto... :( too late at night and I don't have anyone to watch her while I do that anyway!

was chasing my daughter through the park in sandals and caught it on something, bending it back and breaking a large bit of it off... surprisingly it didn't bleed that much...

it's sore but not swollen. I'm not gonna go to a doctor about something this small... so any home remedies to treat the toenail would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hubby got transferred (military) and we have moved to a new place that I have never been to before (somewhat near Seattle). Unlike the last base, there isn't base housing this time, so it's not like before where I instantly had connections b/c of the common ground.

I have no family nearby and no real connections here; feels like I am starting all over again but this time I'm not in school, haven't found a job yet, and I feel too old to go hang out at the bookstores and coffee joints, plus I have a kid now. I've tried the mother's club thing before but they almost always consist of non-working mothers that don't know what it's like to be a military wife and working mom.

I don't have any neighbors yet as the building we moved into is brand new and only 20% occupied. It seems that the only folks that are here are younger, single, and always working. My hubby is not the most social creature either. So, how would YOU go about making new friends in this situation?

I have a friend whose father is dying of cancer and he hates lawyers and refuses to use one to establish a trust. So she is trying to get the deed to her father's property amended to show joint tenancy with right of survivorship but we can't locate any forms to help do that that don't involve a lawyer. Been all over the searches with no lawyer-less results... any suggestions? The main goal is to keep any property inheritance out of probate.
