  • External hard drive?

    I bought a 750 GB hard drive about a week ago and when I turn on my new~500 GB HP computer(using Vista) it gets stuck on the boot up screen(the screen that you can restore~setup~boot~etc.....) until I unplug it and then it will go to the normal screen. When I plug it back in after that it is fin! I am just wondering WHY it does that! I had a 320 GB drive, before I bought the new one and it never did that!
