I need help! My daughter is so attached to nursing, she wants to nurse all the time - she pull at my shirt constantly when we are together. When I am at work (I teach) she is absolutely fine at daycare, but during the weekends, nights etc she wants to nurse constantly (we also co-sleep, so nursing is the only way she actually is quiet and sleeps through the night). What worked for you? If I tell her no or put my hand up to my chest to stop her she has a full on temper tantrum. I am so tired and I need to stop because she needs to develop healthy sleep/other habits without nursing.

My daughter is now a little over 1 year and I would like to stop nursing her except she is so attached to it! She nurses constantly throughout the night and it is her only comfort she hate pacifiers and does not care about her blankie. She is now trying to pull down my shirt when we are in public and throw a temper tantrum if I do not let her nurse at her will during the night (we co-sleep). I am so exhausted and need help from other mothers who have gone through the process of stopping nursing (while co-sleeping), and eventually transitioning her into her own crib. Thanks!

For the past year my daughter has slept in our bed because she hated her crib from day 1, but we are to the point we need her to sleep in her crib because she wakes up still 4 x a time to nurse and I am exhausted. I do not know how to transition her into her crib - she takes naps in our bed and only will ONLY fall asleep nursing. When I put her in her crib she has the will power to scream for a few hours straight - it is just too heartbreaking for me to see this and so I never can let her "cry it out" I am so frustrated and sleep deprived I need help...how do I get her to sleep in her crib when our bed is all she knows?
