  • How do I tell which cable is carrying my TV signal?

    I recently moved, and I want to install a new coax cable outlet in my basement. The new outlet will back to an unfinished part of the basement, and in the ceiling I can see 5 black cables. I suspect one of these is carrying the FIOS TV signal, but I can't tell which one. The others may not be carrying any signal at all (left over from an earlier satellite TV install). Is there any way to tell which, if any of these cables are carrying signal without cutting into them?

    ...we see it as it was 13 billion years ago. But, are we not also seeing it WHERE is was 13 billion years ago? Was it 13 billion light-years away 13 billion years ago?
