  • Baby Mama Drama????

My nephew is 24 years old, his ex girlfriend is 20 years old. They broke up about 1 month ago and now she is 3 months pregnant. She told my nephew that she has not gone to the doctor but she is going to have an abortion because of some comments on MySpace. She has since moved to Washington and has now changed her number. My nephew told her that he would be there for her and the baby if she decided not to have an abortion but she is insistant that she is still having an abortion. My nephew has doubts because she has not went to the doctor and keeps saying that she is haveing an abortion but later. My nephew is not sure what he can do because he can not prove that she will have an abortion and she has not contacted him...What's your opinion?

  • Jackass Two is not an age appropriate movie?

My son is 9 years old. We went to the movies (4 adults) and him on Wednesday and saw "Jackass Two". On Thursday he woke up late for school because his sister did not wake him up on time. His teacher sent home a note that read , "Your son was late today because he went to a movie (not a movie for children) last night and got home late. I told him I don't think you would take him to a movie on a school night, especially a movie that is not appropriate for a nine year old."

His teacher stapled it (open without an envelope) to his homework. I have asked that when there are problems to email me, which she has done in the past.

Rated R Movies are (according to the Motion Picture Association of America): Under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian.

The movie shows men acting "stupid dumb and retarded", the nudity is men's body parts and my son understands that "Do not try these stunts at home"

What is your opinion on what i should write back to his teacher??

  • My ex wants to kidnap my baby girl when she's born.....?

I am 5 months pregnant and when I first told my ex he said he did not want anything to do with it. Now, well about 2 weeks ago, he called me and said he wants to be a part of the baby's life. He wants to go to ultrasounds and be there when i have her. Yesterday I ran into 2 of his friends and they told me that he has been telling people that he only wants to be around so I will put his name on the bith certificate so he can "kidnap" the baby without getting in trouble with the law because he will have as much rights as I do. An attorney told me that if I do not name him on the birth certificate and do not put his last name that he will not have any rights. This also means that I can not claim child support (which is okay with me) But if he tries to kidnap or take without permission he wil be arrested..I am not sure to include him in the ultrasounds and birth or not...he is the father but i consider him just a sperm donor...

  • The groom's parents said they would pay for everything and now they are backing out....what the?

My daughter is getting married in December of 2006. She announced the wedding 12/05 Her fiancees parents told my daughter they were going to pay for everything. When she asked them again in June they still confirmed that they were going to pay for everything.

Now my daughter asks about wedding invitations and reception information and the mother of the groom says that unfortunately they can not pay for anything because they have to remodel their kitchen for Thanksgiving. (The only reason they are remodeling their kitchen is because their older son's in-laws are coming over for Thanksgiving Dinner and they are financially secure, a.k.a. "well-off)

So, I have not saved any money for the wedding, since I thought they would pay for it and a lot of holidays are around the corner.

So, should I, the bride's mother (single parent, single income) pay for a wedding that is a couple of months away or should the groom "Man-up" and tell his parent's to help pay?

  • is this "racial profiling"?

I am a latina female who bought a porshce in november of 2005 - cash! i was parked in a private long driveway in east san jose, ca on wednesday 7/12 at about 730pm. 3 San Jose Police officers stopped and asked me if I had stolen the car. They asked me for the pink slip, registration, prooof of insurance, driver's license, and pay check stub. also they wanted me to call a witness who was present during the purchase. the white officer said "how can a person like you be driving a car like this without making payments?", I asked him what he meant by "A person like me" but he did not answer. he proceeded to ask me if i was there to buy or sell drugs, buy or sell my body, if i had any weapons or dead bodies in the car and if i had smoked marijuana in college. this went on for 45 minutes. after he checked my background - clear, my registration, clear and current, my insurance, current, talked with my witness, and could not find anything on me, he thanked me for my cooperation and left. Huh?
