I've been looking into finding a good voice teacher to get lessons but I am having the most difficult time. Any recommendations? I either want to study classically or musical theater.

I really don't know what area of singing I should study. I've wanted to be an opera singer since I could talk but it's also been my dream to be in a Broadway musical. One teacher I'm interested in asked which do I want to study and I don't know whether to study Opera, Musical Theater, or to just train classically! Which do you think is better?

I am currently in the process of finding a quality singing teacher but until then I want to know how to breathe while I sing. I forget how to breathe sometimes while I sing so I find that when I'm done my voice becomes raspy which I know isn't good. So whats a good way to breathe consistently while singing. Sometimes I'll breathe just fine during a song but its not consistent. So how do I make my breathing consistent? After singing for about 1 hour my breathing starts becoming erratic. I don't know why I think I just get tired.

I have always been into musical theater but never took any formal voice lessons. So I have decided to take voice lessons but one of the voice teachers I'm interested in says I have to figure out my voice range before she can teach me. How do I find out my range?

I feel most comfortable singing low notes but I can sing higher notes if I really tried.

I am using my cousin's Yahoo profile. My name is Adelaide and I am in the process of applying for colleges. My freshman year of high school I didn't really get good grades. I had about an 84.65% average at the end of the year and in the first marking period of sophomore year I had only a 70.0% average but since then I have had nothing lower then a 94.5% average. Will my freshman grades affect my chances of getting in to schools such as NYU and Yale? I am a member of NHS (national honor society) I have taken AP English and AP Calculus and I got a 2100 on my SAT.

I just bought some books and DVDs on BN.com and I want to know who they ship with. UPS or FedEx so I can know at what time of day I should be expecting my package.

I live in New York City. I want to become an actress and I;m trying to build a resume by getting into school plays. But the thing is my school doesn't have school plays! The only way I can be in the play my school has is if I take the drama class as an elective but when I want to my counselor she said the class was full. My school does offer a program called Bay Street Theater that I plan on joining but it doesn't start yet. I have been looking for auditions and I am going to an open call later on this month. So my question is how can I gain more experience?

I am going to an open call and I'm having trouble writing a resume because I have no experience. I have auditioned for things before but I never needed a resume because it was for acting programs not an actual part. I have never taken an acting class because I can't afford it and the only play I have been in was when I was in 1st and 2nd grade because my middle school and high school don't have school productions. I have had 5 years of ballet experience would it be helpful to add that as a special skill? PLEASE HELP ME! I really have no experience aside from acting out monologues in front of my family. Also my audition is in New York.

I am attending an open casting call on october 24th and I want to know what do I list on my resume with no prior experience? I have been on 3 other auditions for acting that didn't require a resume because they were for special programs. (I didn't get in but I try not to let that affect me because they were my first auditions EVER)

Can I list I attend ballet school? Would it help? The only real acting experience is from 3rd and 1st grade when I was in a school play. I doubt they would want me to add that to my resume. Also I act out scenes from my favorite plays and movies in front of my family but that is about the only experience I have.

When I first brought the puppy home my dog was mounting her even though it is his daughter (he stopped already but still always wants to be with the new pup)) . Before I got the new pup she lived with the mother and the other puppies from the litter. Is it possible that my 3 yr old yorkie can smell her mom is in heat? Could that be why he was mounting her and is going insane?

I went away for a month and left my 3 yr old yorkie to stay with friends so we can mate out dogs (they ended up having 4 girls!) He came back with the WORST breath! Now whenever I brush his teeth he bleeds and his gums are turning kind of black. His breath is becoming worse! I don't know what to do I try to brush his teeth but he bites me because he HATES getting his teeth brushed.

If they do does that still make them vegetarian?

I am a Freshman in High school and I have always had problem with converting word problems into equations. I have asked multiple teachers at my school but they just confuse me even more. Please help me.

My friend said I have OCD because no one is EVER allowed in side my room, no one is allowed to touch any of my things especially my bed because then I feel like it is dirty then I have to wash it.
