  • Will completing a tattoo in pieces over a long period of time affect continuity?

I have 2 sittings done so far on a full side piece tattoo I'm getting from a great artist. About 7 hours put into it so far, and I have the entire outline and exactly half the shading done. Due to financial issues, I have to wait until late april to finish the other half of the shading (about 4 months from when the first half was done). When I get it completed, will there be a visible difference between shading on one side and the other (its only black ink)? I have kept the tattoo entirely out of direct sunlight so far and haven't done anything in particular to wear it out.

  • Internet connection works, but web browsers do not?

I recently started having problems with my web browsers. About every 5 minutes the internet will cut out for 1-2 minutes, and i'll have to keep hitting "refresh" until the pages load again. Even when this is happening, AIM stays up, and files that i'm downloading don't slow or stop. This problem happens in both firefox and internet explorer so I don't think it's either program that is the problem. What's going on?

  • How could I find more art in this style?

I have seen a LOT of art in this style, I'm just not sure what it's called, or who any other artists are that do similar work. This is the best example I could find, by Sebastian Salcedo:

I could only think to really call it like "Catholic Art" or something?

  • Advantages to getting an MFA in digital art over a BFA?

I am currently pursuing my BFA in digital art, and am about half way through the program. I noticed that another in-state university offers a digital art MFA program, which definitely piqued my interest. My question is - Besides personal fulfillment, in the field of digital art is there any real advantage to me spending the additional 2 years to get the MFA instead of just keeping the BFA and starting a career? Thanks!

  • Where would be the best direction to go with an art degree?

I'm majoring in art at Arizona State University with a focus in Digital Art. My parents are engineers and have gone out of their way to prove to me i'll be broke the rest of my life but I know this isn't the case. I'm good at what I do and I'm one of the most driven people I know. Working in digital art or a similar field what kind of careers could I enter?

  • Anyone know anything about Copenhaver Castle on Camelback Mountain in AZ?

I checked it out today after some friends told me how to get to it, I'd never been there before. It's really high up on Camelback, up around the neck of the 'camel'. Really amazing HUGE castle. The doors and windows are busted and I guess kids go up there to party and whatnot. I was told that the owner was in jail for murder, so it's abandoned and the electricity is out. I couldn't find anything about it online, does anyone know any further details about its recent history?
