  • Can 4th quarter US federal estimated tax payment be adjusted?

    I have been paying based on 100% of our 2009 tax figures. Our income has gone down significantly this year and I would like to know if it is acceptable to adjust our 4th quarter payment to cover the 90% of estimate rather than continue paying based on last year's actual.

    No opinions please, only reply if you are certain of the answer. I did try reaching my accountant, but they have not returned my call, so looking for a bit of info here.

  • Adding Metallics to Acrylic Painting?

    I have seen paintings with a solid, somewhat dimensional metallic material added as accents over an acrylic painting. I know a small torch is used in the application process. Not sure if it is to adhere the metallic material or to melt it.

    Does anyone have a clue what material is being used for the metallic and what is involved in the process?
