MAKE A SCENE.™

I am dead set on being a published author. I only have about 5 chapters done, but I do want to know what people think of my idea before I get too far into something that won't sell. It's aimed at the 15-20 year old crowd. The book follows three troubled boys and one seemingly perfect boy. Due to a shooting the troubled boys are assigned to the perfect boy so as to avoid another shooting. The boys get close and when their meetings are discontinued they start their own club called TBFV. The letters stand for what you want them to stand for. It's supposed to be some kind of universal. The boys do Random Acts of Kindness and Poetic Terrorism, gaining followers and eventually causing a city-wide movement. That's the main jist. Sound good?

Which one do you believe comes first, loyalty or trust? And why?

Think about cops, the president, abusive relationships, just crossing the street (and passing people in huge killing machines (cars)).

If you don't know what Electrikk is, it was a thing that was really popular around 04/05 on Xanga. Here's what one of the Xanga blogrings described it as: "decadence, vintage, tight jeans, hard hitting lyrics, lipgloss &&bullets, photography, shows, lovers, liars, mixtapes &&romance, kill motel kill, ima robot, black and white snapshots, bridges and madison, magic markers, home made shirts; the feeling that yr near, xanga<3"

So my question is: do you think that this is the same thing as scene or perhaps an early phase of it? If it is different, is it still around at all today?

As in, when did the "Emo kid" appear. In case you are one of those people who does think it means Emotional person or depressed cutter, think again. It has been argued, but it did originally mean Emotional/Emotive Hardcore. Not just emotional. It was a genre of music from the 1980's that is 99% dead. Emo bands would be Rites of Spring and Moss Icon. So I'm just wondering, when did people get stupid and turn Emo into a bunch of whiny high school kids that write poems and cut themselves?

I'm 17 years old and I don't do any sports. Earlier today I was bending over to pick something up when I think my right knee popped and jutted out to the right. It hurts when I try to straighten it and only hurts a little when I bend it. It hurts a bit when I walk and a lot when I go up or down stairs. The pain is mostly on the left side (of my right knee) and it hurts to poke it. Would a knee brace help? My family is a little strapped for money right now, so I REALLY don't want to have to go to the doctor...

First off, we are in high school. He is a freshman and I am a senior. Anyway, he almost never approaches or sits with me. It's always me to sit with or approach him. People are always tellings us that we make a cute couple. We never say anything when they say that. When a friend of his asked if he liked me he mumbled something I couldn't hear, but when asked if he hated me he was like "NO!!! She's awesome!" I never see him hugging people, but he hugs me every time I come up to him. One cold morning we and some friends were outside. I sat next to him and pressed my side against his. He didn't move. When people asked if we were going out he didn't say anything. He got up once, but sat down next to me again, but with a sliver of space between us. I filled the space and he didn't move. When people tried to make him go inside (because it was 36 degrees) he said "No! It's nice out here!" He sounded like there was something genuinely nice out there.... I think.
