  • Should I Just Be The Bigger Person?

I just started my second semester of my freshman year of college carrying a quite a bit of regret on my back. Last semester I became very close with my best friend and his roommate. The three of us were pretty much inseparable. However, halfway through last semester the two had a problem with my best friend being awakened all the time by his roommate's snoring. His roommate took it too far, and because the both of them were actually closer with me than they were with each other, his roommate told me he had arranged to move to another dorm, and told me not to tell my best friend. Obviously it was impossible for me to keep a secret from my best friend, and I ended up spilling the beans. In my defense, I was put in a really bad position. If I didn't tell my best friend, he would've found out that I had known the whole time once his roommate moved out, and that's a b-move. On the other hand, once I told my best friend, I had to lie to his roommate's face numerous times whenever he would ask if had told my best friend. Eventually he found out, and was furious with me. He completely told me off after I wrote a letter of sincere apology to him, and told me things were "going to be different" this semester within the group of friends that we all hang out with. After I told my best friend about his roommate telling me off, he told me that things had been bad between the two of them as well (complete silence within their room). This semester though, I came back to find that things between the two of them are completely fine, and I don't know why. I don't want to ask because I don't want to bring up drama from the past, but honestly the fact that his roommate is still acting so cold to me but not him makes me very upset. Should I just be the bigger person and deal with it/be cordial? We're not trying to kill each other or anything, he's just being cold and not acknowledging me in any way, and it's making me feel like the odd man out within the group of friends because they all seem to get along so well. I don't know what to do! I just want to be happy.

  • Protest Songs By The Beatles?

Besides "Revolution". It's for a project in school and unfortunately someone who won't even end up doing his project (a slacker) gets the good song. Any suggestions?

  • Disney World characters/college?

Hola, I was hoping to find out some information on this deal I heard about where if you work as a character in Disney World/Disneyland they would help pay for your college or something. Also, is it true that you can pick what character you want to be? I'm short (5'1 3/4")so I think I'd have a variety of characters to choose from.

  • What is That New Website Called?

I heard the name of it on KIIS FM today. It's a website where you can go if you want to buy something that was used in a movie? The name of the website is really literal. (i.e. "Where are her glasses from in that movie?" *goes to website* "Oh, that's where I can buy them"). Thanks!

  • Molly Ringwald at Age 16-18?

What do you think was the weight and height of Molly Ringwald from the time when she was about sixteen to eighteen? Like around the time she filmed The Breakfast Club and Pretty In Pink. I just noticed she was pretty skinny, but with height you can never tell. Just curious.

  • Moths in My Car? HOW?!?!?

Alright so yesterday when I was driving to school, all of a sudden this moth pops up out of nowhere. Today when I was driving the same thing happened again. I've seen related questions to this talking about how to get rid of them and such, but I just want to know how they got there in the first place! I never crack my windows or leave them open.

  • Annoying Terms, Phrases or Lingo?

What are a few terms, phrases or any lingo that annoy you? Personally, I seriously cannot stand this new phrase "epic fail." O_o really? That's like the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Opinions?

  • If you get a new iPod, can you sync the music from your old iPod?

I've heard that if I were to get a new iPod, (say, 4th generation Nano?) and hooked it up to my computer on iTunes, it won't let me sync the music that was originally on my old iPod Nano. If this is true, I am horrified. Would I seriously have to spend over $200 on the same exact songs?

  • Diet Coke...Causes Cancer?

Okay, so I really need to get this record set strait. All my friends are saying that Diet Coke and just Coca-Cola in general causes cancer when you get older. This really sucks too because Coke is like my favorite drink. I don't really believe it. I'm thinking that it's one of those things that an inexperienced doctor has "discovered" but then nothing really is bad about it. Plus, people have been drinking Coke for what now, 100 years? And nothing has happened to them! (Unless of course they get cancer for some other reason)

  • Diabetes...Do I have it?

I have been having a few symptoms lately that I know of that contribute to diabetes. Based on the symptoms I list, I need your opinion on whether I should check with my doctor about it or not.

    1. I've been getting thristy a lot lately.

    2. It seems in the last year, I've had to go to the bathroom more than just about once or twice a day. (Once in the morning when I wake up, at lunchtime, and when I get home from school.)

    3. Even though my metabolism is high to keep me at a good size, I know my diet is probably not the healthiest. I definitely have a tooth for sweets and sugar, and I think I take in more than I should.

    4. Not serious, but small cases of it run in my dad's side of the family. My grandpa seemed to have a small case of it, and right before my dad passed away, I remember him telling me one day after a trip to the doctor's for symptoms he had, they might have contributed to future diabetes. (However, he didn't die from that.)

    Thanks

  • Friend Help?

So I have this friend who spends a lot of her time on her cell phone looking on gossip websites, and when I talk to her, like at lunch, after school, or whenever we hang out, more than half the time she's on her phone, almost like she's not even listening to me. She says she can multi-task, and she is listening, but obviously actions speak louder than words. It's really bugging me that she does this. Infact, it's always seemed that I treat her nicely, and even though we usually hang out at her house and not mine, she treats me pretty poorly. What do you guys think? Should I stay friends, or drop the friendship? We have a lot in common, I would hate to do that, but if it's for the best, idk.

  • Cracked, itchy skin...HELP!!!?

Ok so a couple of years ago the side of my right thumb began itching like crazy, and so I would scratch it, but then I would notice my skin starting to crack there, and then peeling. I know, it's gross. Since then, it's happened about once every month or two, and it's also occured on the side of my middle finger on my left hand. Any ideas, mainly what this is, how I might have got it, why it's just on those two fingers, and how I can get rid of it? Thanks!
