Whenever I play music now it cracks and pops (it is not the speakers). Is it something that is replaceable

When I was young many of the high school kids were reading a paperback novel call "Hot Rod". As I remember the main character was some rich kid who drove an exotic sports car. I am probably way off but I think it was called a Wostman Ebbert, the guy would say "Buick block only" when asked about the engine. I can switch from window to window easy enough, but once in a new window various commands can take up to a minute or more. I have Kaspersky internet security program and have run a scan, but scan revealed no problems. Except for the slow response everything works normally. Ebay LED mini directionals hooked up on Yamaha XS1100 (12v system). What do i need to do to get them to flash??? I tried putting a resistor (50 Ohm) in the line before the switch, it did not work, tried two resistors wired together (100 Ohm) still no flash. Help appreciated, thanks.

1997 Mercury Marquis throwing code for lean condition. These cars with 4.6 liter V8 are known to have manifold air leak problems. I would appreciate comments from anyone with experience with these cars as to what what needs to be done (or at least what did you do) to fix the problem. Any helpful information appreciated thanks in advance.

On a British Amal carb the throttle slide cut-away increments are in 32nds of an inch (IE #2 slide has 2/32 of an inch cut-away). I assume that Mikuni carbs would have metric units and earlier today I measured a #2 Mikuni slide and found the cut-away to be 4mm. Can anyone out there confirm my guess that the Mikuni slide cut-away increment is 2mm each?????

Called local shop they told me numbers were different, but, that could be just because of different jetting. If the carb bodies/rack was the same I'd be all set. If someone out there has helpful info I'd be mighty appreciative, thanks.

Car is a 97 Mercury Grand Marquis, I was told because it is an older system (uses freon) it would require extra work to convert it to the newer stuff. Could anyone offer an explaination?

I know what porting, stroking, and boring is, but, I would like to know what process is being described when it is said an engine is "relieved". Thanks in advance for any clarification.

The speakers that came with my computer are small, and, sound small. I now have a pair of Altec computer speakers that have a built in amplifier, they are better than the original speakers. However, I have recently aquired a pair of " Fisher" speakers, 12" woofers, mid range, and tweeters that I would like to hook to the computer. The question is, what sort of amplifier can I use, and does anyone have any suggestions as to where one can be found, and what kind of price would I be looking at, info appreciated???

The model is ZX600A, I called the local shop, but, they told me that they didn't have manuals for that far back, probably BS, but, possible I suppose. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Its happened about 10 times during the past two weeks, previously have had no trouble. I have to switch off and restart to set things right again. Is there a usual cause for this and what might I do to fix it.
