Amateur cosmologist, 34 years as computer systems engineer, retired from that in '02. I am a skeptic. That annoys many people, especially those who are trying to put something over on someone for fun, love or money. I do not believe in life after death, predicting the future, time travel, UFOs being proof of extraterrestrial life, faster than light travel, doomsday prophecies or any other such outrageous claims. That doesn't mean I think less of those who do. Believe what you wish. Just be careful that you don't start barking up the wrong tree. The late Dr. Carl Sagan said, "Extraordinary claims must be accompanied by extraordinary evidence.
