Can I put clincher tires on tubular rims? Are all tubular rims unable to accept clinchers?
I have two older bikes, one is a Basso from the eighties that has Mavic rims with tubulars and the other is a Motobecane from the seventies with alloy rims. They both are 700C rims. They both seem to have high sides but I haven't taken either apart, but I have to as the tires on both are aged and need replacing. I'd like to use clinchers for the ease and economy. Are there parameters to make this call or is this change completely out of the question without changing the rims totally?
6 AnswersCycling1 decade agoInvited to a party tonight, know them from business.?
I have worked for them at their house and I've hired his business for mine. We get along fine but I don't know the people he knows. He says its a huge event but I'm going it alone and I haven't really gone out in years, getting cold feet. They are very social and I will probably be expected to hold my own socially. I don't want to be a dork while everyone else is having a good time but I also think I could make some good business connections as most of the people will be in my line of work. What would you do? I don't want to show up too early either, how late is too late to show for up a party with fire works, catered food and a DJ?

In other words, can a ruling be thrown out if it is shown that the judge made their determination not by facts alone, but by suppositions and conclusions drawn without proper understanding, or made rulings with intent to severely punish the previously defaulting party?
