  • Windows Vista question?

When Windows Vista first came out, it had many problems but soon it was refined into the system it is now. Along with that is the new system Windows 7 which is built off of a the Windows Vista kernel. So...

    1. What were your initial thoughts of Windows Vista when it came out?

    2. Do you like the system now since it has been refined and works better?

    3. Would you upgrade to Windows 7 knowing Vista is really the base of Windows 7?

Please answer the three questions. Short and sweet if you want or as much as you want.

    Thanks.

  • Reformat hard drive with Ubuntu?

I have Ubuntu installed and I need to reformat another hard drive that is installed in the computer. I was wondering how to reformat without using the installation CD, just the system itself running.

Also, if you have no viable information that will be of any use to me or any others with similar questions like this, do not answer. I think people would really care less about your pointless answers, you're just taking up server space.

Anyway, to anyone else that has any information. Please, by all means, answer.

    Thank you.

  • Head ache for a few days?

I have had a migraine for a two days but now it has gone down to a small head ache that will not go away totaling around 5 days. I have used Ibu. and Asprine but nothing gets rid of it fully. I don't know what to do. My family has a history of migraines but none for almost a week. I am not sure if I am sick, there was a virus going around weeks ago that gave many people head aches and got them sick. Anything I can do or what do you recommend?

Please, if you know nothing such as what I am experiencing or have no knowledge about this topic please do not answer.

    Thanks

  • Painting on a bed sheet?

I am in need of a mobile green screen. I do not want to pay for one, I'd rather make one. I found some bed sheets large enough for my use but the green will not work with my software. I have green paint already that will work well with the software. Any advice on how to go about painting these sheets with regular paint and other things I should know?

  • Video Formats compatible with Imovie and Apple systems?

I have some video taken off a camera primarily for use with PC's. I have taken the video and converted it to formats I found could be read by an Apple system but for some reason they seem to not work. What would you, the answerer of this question, choose for a good, no problem reading video format for an Apple computer?

Please, answers by people who have used and know a lot about Apple computers.

    Thank you.

  • What is the purpose of the Win32 file?

This is a file that I know is vital to the operation of my XP computer. But, what does it do and should I allow it to access the internet? This program drives my firewall crazy and it has been known to be the perfect home for viruses. Should I allow it internet access or keep blocking it?

  • Youtube video question?

I am about to make a youtube video today and I need to know one thing. I plan saying Wal-mart in it. Is it illegal to mention the name a few times in the video as long as I don't show their name or their advertising signs? I was just wondering.

  • PS3 trouble?

OK, I have had this PS3 for about a half a year now. It is the 80GB configuration. My little brother reported to me that the PS3's fan start to go faster than normal and shut off and turn on repeatability. Then the disk ejected right during a mission on the GTA 4 game. I don't know what the problem could be and I was wondering if anyone else had this problem. The current firmware version it has is old. I haven't had it updated but I am going to update it with the new 2.42 update via flash drive. I want to know if this happened to you and what you did.

P.S. I don't care if you feel the PS3 is stupid or sucks, I don't care if you hate GTA 4. I only want an answer for this problem I am having and only people who have ever had this or knows how to fix it.
