I understand that Pete Rose was banned due to gambling on games while he was both a player and manager of the Reds. But why is this necessarily a bad thing? What makes gambling/betting on your own team illegal?

I don't mean to sound as if I'm condoning him; I merely don't understand the illegality of his gambling and the overall scandal.

Before you answer, I would like to say that the relationship I'm in is not a sexual one, nor do I plan for it to be a sexual one. I like her in a "pure" (for lack of a better word) way. I don't wish for any sexual activity with her, yet I feel the need to masturbate. I enjoy masturbating. Is it wrong for me to do so?

Also, our relationship does not involve much sexual talk at all - we mostly talk about everything else, although that doesn't mean we're uneducated about it. It's a different situation, at least feel it is.

Would I get much out of it, or would it be better to consider other schools?
