Looking for a teen book about a snow globe and alternate realities.?
My mom has been looking for a book she read a few years ago. It was a juvenile fiction book about a boy who uses a snow globe to go into an alternate reality. In the other world, he meets his other self who happens to be a girl. His name is Robert, hers Roberta. One had lost their father, the other the mother (or something like that). Any help with this will be appreciated.
2 AnswersBooks & Authors6 years agoIs there any Network that JUST shows the Macy's parade and not all the interviews?
Several years ago I stumbled upon a channel that showed the whole parade and all the interviews were done in a picture in picture window. It was so much nicer to be able to actually watch the parade! But, since then, I can't find a place to watch it like that and I can't remember which network it was. I figure I won't get the answer in time to really watch the parade this year but maybe next year I won't have to hear about what all the soap stars are doing for Thanksgiving.
1 AnswerMedia & Journalism1 decade agoWhat Does FBO Mean (Dallas Divas and Daughters)?
I was watching Dallas Divas and Daughters with my mom in the episode where the girls were going to prom. One of the girls is talking to her mom the next day and says something about her first FBO but neither my mom or I could figure out what that means. I Googled it and came up with some options but most were some sort of financial acronym. The only other two were Full Body Orgasm (which I hope isn't what she was talking about!) and the other was Fecal Body Odor which I'm sure she wasn't talking about.
Anybody know what FBO stands for?
1 AnswerLanguages1 decade agoWhat are the weird orange ringed pasta looking things found in the produce section?
In the Brookshires, where I occasionally shop, they have a small bin of round pasta like orange things that look a bit like a wheel. They are near the peppers and other odd produce. I don't know what they are called or what they are actually but someone said that you can fry them or microwave them and they puff up like pork rinds.
Anyone know what they are and what they are made of?
1 AnswerEthnic Cuisine1 decade agoWhat is T-mobile's answer to the Iphone?
Several of my friends have Iphone's (they work at AT&T, :P) and I think they are awesome but I'm not switching from T-Mobile just to get an Iphone. What is the T-Mobile answer to the Iphone and if you have whatever it is, is it as cool as an iphone?
1 AnswerCell Phones & Plans1 decade agoWhat the heck are "side bangs"?
I keep reading questions about hairstyles talking about "side bangs" and I have never heard of such a phenomenon. Is there anyone out there over the age of 25 who has any clue what these are? Is this some sort of teenybopper/emo trend?
I'm so confused!
17 AnswersHair1 decade agoIs there a book similar to Benjamin Button?
Several years ago I bought a book from a book club that had several sizes of hats on the cover but I can't remember the title. What I remember about it was similar to the story in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button but I don't think that was the book.
Anyone have any ideas on this?

I just finished everything on the New Super Mario Bros game that I borrowed from a friend. I also have Mario Kart and have played Brain Age. Any suggestions on another game?
4 AnswersVideo & Online Games1 decade agoWhat is the holiday that the florists give out a dozen roses to give away to others?
I remember a few years ago when I was in college, people were handing out roses that they had gotten from the florists for free. I went by one to figure out what it was about and it was some sort of holiday where the florists gave you a dozen roses as long as you signed a paper saying you would give them all away. Does anyone know what this day is and when?
