my truck engine blew so im now moving everything into a car i got. i have 6.5 typre r's components. the speakers in the car right now are really crappy and i cant afford to buy new front and backs and the 6.5s arent the right size so im going to build a free air box (no back on it cuz their components) and stick them in the backseat prolly. the head unit has wires for both front and back speakers. if i wire both the front and rear right and front and rear left together will it double the output watts? (not to be confusing i am NOT wiring the left and right speakers together, im wiring the front and back of each side together). in example if the head unit put out 40w to each speaker would the pair be getting 80w each if i did that? would this pose any problems?

just an after thought has anyone tried putting components in a sealed box? i dont think their designed to be in one but im kinda curious as to what they would sound like.

just got a new car awhile ago, a 2001 Hyundai Accent. I want to move all my audio stuff into it as my other car engine blew up and thats not going anywhere for a few months. the car battery in it is crap, the owner told me its old and needs to be replaced soon. Ive forgot the lights on 3 times since ive got it (yea you would think i would have learned by now) and came out with a dead battery after between 15mins-45mins. im thinking about a deep cycle battery, as from what i understand they have a longer charge capacity and maybe if i forget the lights on it will still be ok 30 mins later? how long will these things last for stuff like that. but mostly im going to be running about 600-800 RMS off of it aswell. will a deep cycle be ok as a starting battery. I live in MN so it gets really cold sometimes 20 below

alright cant remember what this is called at all i tried googling it but to no avail so. whats it called when the phone displays all your incoming and outgoing texts on one screen. so as in it will display your sent message and then the one you recieved and the one you sent again in order etc etc in like a chain. just cant remember, thank you

alright so im looking for an affordable recording way to record some bass tracks for a few songs. most ways are pretty expensive and im hoping for a way less than $30 (or up to $50 at most) that still produces decent sound.

Now from what ive read going from guitar straight to your computer doesnt produce enough sound. i found one of my old amps has a headphone out. can i use the amp as a pre-amp and the headphone jack as an audio out?

so if i can do that i would run the cable from my bass to the amp input. then run the second cable from the headphone out to the computer mic in. would this produce a louder sound without distortion (the background hum from recording). or will it even work at all.

oh and the headphone out on the amp is a quarter inch so i would use a converter to an 1/8 inch normal jack for the audio input. maybe thats irrelevant lol

ok im working on a space or dreaming theme or maybe something a bit darker theme like a my chem style kinda. dark, death etc....and im a bit stuck i need help thinking of some stuff to put in it. im sooner or later going to put it on a guitar when i get the time. i just cant seem to get anything creative going lol. so just list a bunch of suggestions. prefer stuff fitting into those themes but if you think of something cool just add it in there too. nothing too detailed and no flames. i plan on doing it mostly red details and black background (base guitar color)

actually a musical may be more what im looking for then a play but im open to either so any suggestions are appreciated.

So i brought my 99 chevy 1500 in about a month ago to get the blinkers fixed on it. it turned out to be an electrical problem and they replaced the bussing block and a faulty terminal. now my gas gauge is acting up. while stopped after just moving the gauge jerks back and forth moving about a 1/4 tank each way. then it will eventually read full and then drop down to empty. while driving it says its almost always at 3/4-full tank (dont i wish). So whats wrong with it. what does that bussing block do. does that part have anything to do with the gauge maybe i could take it back in and get it repaired free if so. If not whats the most likely problem with it.

alright looking for a song i heard along time ago. i remember it talking about strawberry fields so i thought it was strawberry fields forever but it was faster and alot more upbeat then that. i just remember they sang about a girl and strawberry fields. idk maybe i just mis-remembered and it is the Beatles song lol. so anyone know of a different song like that?

alright i found a used amp i think i want to buy but its seems a little cheap and i wanna make sure it works before pay. JBL 1200.1 i looked it up and it seems good, pretty clean power and not way over rated, its not a Rockford per say but at $85 i cant complain.

the problem is i dont have the subs yet. right now ive got some old school boston 10's. 350w rms so can i test it on them with low volume or is it just going to fry them.

Ok i need some type of caulk or sealant. it would be great if you could tell me what i need and where to get it. prefer something i could get at Walmart, L&M, or Menards is ok too i guess.

heres what its got to be

--used on glass, metal or possibly hard plastic (such as the water bottle type stuff)

--needs to non poisonous

--needs to be water tight/resistant.

--needs to be heat resistant (not as important but it will be briefly in contact with hot metal so it at least cant be flammable lol)

The only college that offers my desired degree is about an hour and a half away (each way). i have been accepted and also got a fafsa grant to help pay for some of it. other than that i have no money to pay for it so i will be about $5000 short for this year (both semesters). i would have to take out a student loan to pay for the classes if i go this year. also a friend of mine would like to split an apartment that would be about 10 miles away from the college. it seems more realistic than driving 3 hours a day but im not sure we can make ends meet even with a part time job after classes. my options are to

1. stay at home drive 3 hours a day to attend college. this seems unrealistic to me i would like to avoid this even though it may be less expensive

2. move and attend college +part time job (will i make enough? seems i will make only around 600 a month and i don't think that will cover expenses)

3. move out and get a full time job and resume college next year with a few thousand saved.

i would prefer to move out if possible just because i am ready to be on my own (other than being short of money) so staying home and getting a job isn't much of an option to me. Tell me what my best option is and why and any other advise is much appreciated
