i recently got a new hard drive and i moved everything from my old one to my new one and deleted the stuff on my old one and now my desktop is blank but i have the desktop on my new harddrive. how do i get my desktop back. (sorry if its hard to understand)

i want to go to tech but i am not sure on what to do. i am 16 now and was wondering can i take a year off to work and have more time to think about what i want to do next year.

I started p90x today and my ancles are so sore but its not a shooting pain its more a pressure pain if that makes sense and i dont know if i should add heat or ice. And will this go away after a few more days of p90x because i dont want to stop because my dad did it and he had amazing life changing results should i continue or wait until the pain is gone?

the harddrvie is older than my new one and it has all my family photos on it and i can't access them is there a device that i can buy to transfer my files over or is there an easier way. please i need those photos there are 1000s of them and they are al really important to me and my family so please if you know how to do it or if i can buy anything.

I use steam for nearly all my PC games so if i downloaded my games to my laptop and then copied the file over to my PC will i still be able to play them on my pc.

i have a full 1080p HD monitor which looks very nice when im using my ps3 but when i go onto my computer it doesn't look as good. i have a very good graphics card but my CPU is a Intel duo core(with abviousy 2 cores) but will this effect the resolution of my screen.

i am getting a intel core i5 2500k(1155 socket) so i amm going to have to get a new motherboard(because mines is really old) so what i would like to know is what is the best motherboard that is future proof and can handle my new CPU . my new graphics card will probably be the Nvidia 680 GTX or 780 GTX or the 7970 Radeon. and is there a website where i can test any component that i would like to change in the future and see if my components work together. i have no budget because if it is really dear then i can just save up for it.
