There was a black and white film about a guy (that looked like Patrick Warburton) trying to create a film about a trucker. He was a very meticulous filmmaker when it came to shooting and editing. Turns out that the film was too short to be made into a feature film, so the production company wanted him to trim it even more to air on TV.

Other details I can remember:

-He was not a good guy. I believe he either kills or rapes the female lead.

-He didn't have a budget for a soundtrack, so he hires a blues guitarist to watch the film and play along with it.

-To get extras to react to a car crash scene with disgust & intrigue, he films extras watching a stripper that he brought on set.

There have been a number of references to a campaign photo of Bill Clinton standing with a Georgia Senator in front of an all-black inmate lineup.

The Hitches "No One Left To Lie To" book references this as a race-baiting tactic that was promoted around some southern newspapers.

I can t find any of these photos online.

There is an informercial currently in rotation for a pain relief product. It is an interview style infomercial in which a white haired "health guru to the stars" claims that his product means people won't need pain killers or anti-clotting medication. I am looking into whether an FTC claim ought to be filed, but have no record of the product's name!!!
