There is a spider who has built her web next to my kitchen sink for about 2-3 weeks now. She's about an inch long including legs, tan base color with darker brown rings around her legs and 2 stripes on her abdomen. her web is funneled shaped at one end and spreads out like a net around the opening. she does not wrap her food inside the net part, when a fly or something gets caught in the net she rushes to it and pulls it into the funnel part. She has little hairs on her body and is up and about usually in the evening and at night, unless something gets caught in the net. I know she is not a brown recluse and she doesn't bother me and I don't mind her making her home there, and she doesn't seem to care about me, when I do dishes she just sits there with in a foot of me, but I would like to know what species she is, anybody have any ideas? I am in central IL.
