I will also have the remainder of my lease turned into collections. i will be out on my *** living in the streets and still owe on an apartment im not even living in. my apartment mgr knows the situation but does not care to help me out. • I have a tax question and problem... Can any one help?

I got papers early this year. It said I need to pay taxes I owed from 04. I had all my paper work and went to the IRS office. He sent them letters saying that I did infact pay 04's taxes. I also have a copy of said letters. Now I got a letter sayinig I still owe em from 04. I have gone through this this year alone 2 times. What should I do? This is the third time, they still want money. Should I just pay it so they stop? Also I have to pay child support are there any deductions or any thing i can claim as a single father?
