  • Did I really just hear McCain say "the great state of New Orleans"?

...and he's in Kenner, Louisiana - a suburb of N.O.!

  • Why is it that people assume that those who have served in the military understand foreign policy better...?

than the rest of us? My buddies that have served in Iraq don't know squat about diplomacy or even political science. It's not like boot camp has a foreign policy 101. No offense to those that have served or our veterans, but listing one's military affiliations as if they are some sort of PhD or qualifications does not make their answers more plausible. In addition, McCain as a veteran and former POW makes him an honorable man, but doesn't mean he understands a lick about foreign policy. Am I totally off here?

  • Who is ready to unite the democratic party?

Who is ready for Hillary and Obama supporters to unite to defeat McCain?

This similar question of mine was deleted for some unknown reason... hmmm.

  • Since people are so stuck on associations...???

How come people don't demand a reason why Bill turned a blind eye to the genocide in Rwanda in 1994 when the UN sent him letters asking for a small intervention that would have prevented the loss of close to 1 million lives. Everyone likes to tout about Bill's term being so successful because the economy was in a good cycle at the time. (which virtually had nothing to do with him.) Also, Bill refused to aid Liberia (a country founded by former American slaves)stating that the country was "of no strategic importance" to the US.

Google it, there's plenty of resources about it...particularly good one is from the Human Rights Watch.

Is that Hillary's outlook on foriegn policy as well?

  • Does anyone else find Lou Dobbs to be a racist bigot?

If you like him, my aim is not to offend you, I simply want to see if I am the only person out there that feels this way.

Is he CNN's version of FOX's Bill O'Reilly?

  • Clinton supporters - how is this any different?

From what Obama said about small town voters?

"The reason (George H. W. Bush's tactic) works so well now is that you have all these economically insecure white people who are scared to death," Bill Clinton Los Angeles Times Quote 1991

  • I keep dreaming that someone shoots me...what does it mean?

It is usually a person who doesn't like me - they break into my apartment and shoot me, and sometimes shoot my child too. Sometimes I'm chased into my apartment, then shot. Other times, I approach the person for small talk and they pull out a gun and shoot me. I had dreams like this when I was pregnant (except when I was pregnant, the person always shot me in the stomach) and I thought it would go away once my baby was born, because hormones associated with pregnancy can apparently cause crazy dreams. Well, it's been 10 months since the baby was born and it hasn't let up. Does anyone have a clue about possible meanings of this recurring dream?

  • What if Obama's wife were white?

Do you feel it would change anything? Please do not rant about whether you think he is racist or whether he is a good candidate. Just answer the question. Thanks!

  • Does it not matter to you that Obama hasn't and Clinton has?

Taken money from PACs and interest groups? Obama has not accepted money from lobbyists or special interest groups. Maybe individual people from those groups have donated on a personal level and I'm not disputing that, but what say Clinton supporters of that? How will she offer anything different than any other politician that takes money from such groups and then has to cater to their needs once in office?

  • What is your education level, class, race, age and who are you voting for?

You may answer only portions that you feel comfortable with, but stick to the answer. No explanations needed, I just want to do a quick survey. For example, I would answer like this:

Masters degree holder, middle class, white, 26, and Barack Obama.

That is all I am interested in seeing. Thank you for your honesty.

  • Say Hillary wins the Dem nomination because...?

Republicans vote for her because they think McCain can beat her in the GE or because Rush told them to? How will you feel about that?

  • Specifically, what's Hillary got that Obama doesn't?

Please keep to the issues. The argument of experience is a moot point because Hillary and Obama define experience differently and they are both relatively inexperienced. I want to hear from Clinton supporters mainly...what makes her better than Obama?

Also, although race is an important issue, please don't make this another talk about Rev. Wright.

  • Is there such a thing as reverse racism?

I have written this in some of my answers, what do you think?

I personally believe that philosophically, a group of people that have been systematically oppressed cannot be racist. (i.e. Black Americans) There is no such thing as this thing some call "reverse racism." Why not? Because the group being oppressed ARE the victims. If a young lady goes to the police to report that she has been sexually assaulted, do the police tell her that she has no right to be angry because if she is it is reverse assault? No, they clearly don't. Black Americans have been assaulted and have every right to be upset at the disparities that have spawned from it.

Think racism doesn't exist in these days? I am white and my son is half African and half White. I have experienced blatant racism as a result of my interracial relationship, being called a n***er lover by whites. A close family member of mine said my son has "what we used to call n***er lips."
