I would like some comments on a trade.

team A gets:

Mark Reynolds

Tommy Hanson

Team B gets:

José Bautista

James Shields

Team A needs SP and Team B needs HR's.

What are people's thoughts of the trade? I think Hanson will have a great year. Bautista was the waiver god of 2010 and should still hit 30+ HR's.

Reynolds and Shields were hurt and had bad 2010 years. Who will be better?

I recently went through a yahoo draft and thought I would share my results. I have played for a few years and usually use the autopick function. Never again ! ! ! It amazes me what and who people pick. My pitching may be a bit week in some areas, but I should be able to compensate with the waiver wires and trades.

I was offered Atkins for Cole Hamels.

My pitching staff is fairly loaded and I can make up the K's and other stats via the waiver wire. I do need a better 3b.

I figured....before I pull the trigger, what are your thoughts?

Hamels is projected: 19wins 207K 3.60 ERA 1.17Whip

Atkins is projected 27hr 110 rbi 80 runs hitting over .300

I need a 2nd catcher (have Posada) and Lowel will replace Glaus. Cordero would provide some more saves (that I need).

This was just offered to me (and I took it).

I give up Jorge Sosa (who i picked up last week on waivers) for Joe Mauer. I already have Jason Varitek, but need a 2nd catcher to make up some games.

My thought is this - take the trade

Posada is having a great year. I make up for it on the RBI's from Utley.

I could then package Phillips and an OF from someone since Upton will be OF elgible.
