  • Business Management or Finance Major?

I want to get a degree that will land me a job. I was thinking about a business degree, but I am not sure which one. Accounting majors make good money, but I took an accounting class in high school and I just didn't get it. Now, I was thinking management or finance. But, my mathematical abilities are sub-par, so I don't know if that disqualifies me from a finance degree.

My problem is that I love the liberal and performing arts, and I excel in that area. I mean, I know four languages, my writing and speaking abilities are incredible (I say this as humbly as I can), and I sing, dance, and act very well. All that is fine and dandy and I would love to do it for a living, but it's not going to make money and pay the bills, unfortunately.

So, should I major in business management or finance, or anything else you suggest? Also, keep in mind that I will be majoring in French as well (so double-majoring).

My degree would be from Indiana University at Bloomington's Kelley School of Business, if it matters.

  • Is 160,000 dollars per year a good salary for someone who lives alone (no family)?

Would this be a good salary? Would you consider it middle class, lower-high class, or high class?

  • In what ways did mutual fear influence the berlin blockade?

I need help for my IA in history. I suck at history, which is why I am testing out of it early.

Anyway, I know that the Soviet Union and the US were complete opposites, and that the US wanted to contain communism and the Soviets wanted to spread it. But how did mutual fear influence the Berlin Blockade? And how can I elaborate (it is a 1,500 word paper)?

I'm not asking you to write my paper, but I am in need of a lot of help. I need guidance as our teacher does not teach us. Can someone please shed light on this for me?

    Thanks

  • How do you say this sentence in Japanese? Please help me.?

Please help me. It is a very complicated sentence. The sentence is: 'I think it is selfish, naive, and a bit rude to live in a country without putting in the effort to learn that country's language.'

    Please and thank you!

  • Global 30 Program? How hard is it to get in?

I want to attend Tsukuba University in Japan throug the Global 30 Program. I am worried about how difficult it is to get admitted. This is my "report card":

My GPA is 3.5 unweighted, and 4.0 weighted.

I am in the International Baccalaureate Program. I am a sophomore.

    My classes freshman year were:

    -Biology Honors

    -English I Honors

    -French II

    -Debate

-Inquiry Skills Honors (required for freshmen)

    -World History Honors

    -Geometry Honors

    -Business Technology

    This year's classes (sophomore):

    -International Relations Honors

    -Accounting I

    -AP European History

    -AP Spanish Language and Composition

    -French III Honors

    -Chemistry Honors

    -AP English Language and Composition

    -Algebra II Honors

I'm in FBLA and NHS. I study Japanese outside of school and I plan on passing JLPT N2 before I graduate high school. I know my GPA isn't spectacular, but I have two more years to go! And it will go up!

So, what are my chances of getting accepted into Tsukuba?

    Thanks!

  • Can I attend Florida International University? (Please read details)?

My cousin recently came from North Carolina to Florida. He wants to go to college. He can't attend Miami-Dade College because he needs to have lived in Florida for a year before attending. We want to know if he can go to FIU for either Medicine (nursing) or Journalism. He went to college in North Carolina and Puerto Rico but for a brief period of time and didn't finish (due to other factors). He did well in high school, but has not taken his SAT's or ACT's.

    Ultimately, our questions are:

    -Can he attend FIU?

-Will it be necessary to take his SAT's or ACT's (or is it preferable)?

  • Gymnastics in Miami Florida?

Well, I'm 15 and a I'm a guy. I am 6'1" and I really want to do gymnastics. But I don't know where to go. For now I would like to do recreational gymnastics, but I'd like to get into competitive gymnastics eventually. I live in Miami near the Miami International Airport. Any gymnastics gyms in Miami Florida? If it helps, I can do a cartwheel, bridge, round-off, and a handstand into a bridge. That's all I seem to be able to teach myself.

  • Tsukuba University Global 30 Program?

Does Tsukuba's Global 30 Program have an International Business Degree (undergraduate)?

  • I have a question about Japanese?

I want to know how to state the purpose of motion.

For example. I know that "I went to Japan to study Japanese" is 私は日本に日本語をべんきょうしに行きました。

But what if there is no place. For example, "I came to dance" or "I went to eat" or "I came to help you"

Would you say, "私は踊りに来ました" for "I came to dance" ?

    or

Would you use ここ、そこ、and あそこ ?

Such as: "私はここに踊りに来ました" <--- But wouldn't that sound bizarre?

    Please native or fluent speakers!

    Thanks!

  • Questions about my majors? Double major in International Business and Japanese and minor in French?

I want to work in the United States and Japan. I am thinking of double majoring in International Business and Japanese, and minoring in French. As you might have noticed, I like really like languages and cultures, especially the Japanese culture and language. I want to know what you think about this, and tell me what schools would be great to go about my education.

    Thank you in advance!
