  • Why does the non-skid backing of the bathroom rug stick to the floor?

I just pulled up my bathroom rug to wash it and the non-skid backing stuck to the floor. Most of it stuck to the floor, ruined the rug so much that I had to throw it out. Now, my back hurts from scraping off the non-skid backing with a putty knife. What gives? Are these kind of rugs flawed in their design somehow? Someone please enlighten me.

  • Computer making weird noise at start up?

When I turn it on, it will make a whirling & revving noise (which it didn't do before). Then after the computer is on for a little bit the sound will go away. It has been doing this for a few months. No performance problems from it, as far as I know.

The only new thing that we did to it is get a new flat panel monitor for Christmas.

It is an older model eMachine C1904 (at least 5yrs old). We have had it worked on at one point (1yr ago?) when the the power supply fried the mother board and those were replaced, but other than that, no new hardware upgrades.

Any ideas what it might be? Do you think I should have it looked at or maybe a good cleaning might help?

    Thanks.

  • Tricks to get my toddler to let me brush her teeth?

I try to brush her teeth twice a day, but she won't let me actually BRUSH her teeth. She wants to do it herself, but all she does is suck and bite the toothbrush and has a fit if I try to help brush them. I have also tried wiping them with a washcloth, but then she sucks on the washcloth. Anyone got any tips?
