Does anyone know of any books about the Japanese god Arahabaki or including him in it?
So far I haven t been able to find any books all about him or even with him in it. I know people tried to basically erase him from history after he was turned from a beloved god to a feared one due to one leader s obssession. But I really want to find a book to learn more! I ve only been able to locate 1 but it s all in Japanese, and I need it to be in English please.
1 AnswerBooks & Authors2 years agoIssue with seller on Aliexpress?
So originally I placed an order for a cosplay, and they said they'd have it done and shipped within 7 days, no problem. There was a slight problem so they requested the processing time be 7 days, since the counter went down to 5 days left. So i extended it 3 days to make it 8 days and 14 hours since it wasn't ready + time to get to shipping. I was nervous, but it was doable. Now however they say they need 14 days just to process it as it is supposedly done. I can't do 14 days + 20 days of actual shipping and I don't think I want to extend the processing time. What happens if I just let the processing time run out?
2 AnswersOther - Business & Finance2 years agoCan I use Semi-Permanent Hair Dye after doing a body wave perm to my hair?
Basically, I am wanting to do a body wave perm to my hair, and want to put in Manic Panic's Rockability Blue. Can I do that in the same day, or if not, how long do i need to wait?
1 AnswerHair3 years agoLooking to find similar songs to these two?
I m looking to find songs similar to Wait by NF and his Can You Hold Me ft. Britt Nicole? I would prefer to stick to a similar sound or to in the alternative/rock music but I m open to any suggestions!
I m putting together a little soundtrack for these two characters who initially never end up getting what they want, or end up losing it. They start off fake dating to get the attention of someone else, but they end up truly falling in love with each other because the other person is the only one who s stayed and been there for them. So any suggestions would be great, or any songs you feel might fit this relationship would be appreciated! Thank you!
1 AnswerOther - Music3 years agoShift Hour Question?

1 AnswerOther - Careers & Employment3 years agoQuestion about a prospective student looking to head over to London for undergraduate degree?
Hello! I am a U.S. student who is looking to head over to London for my undergraduate degree. I HAVE examined the differences in the US and UK education systems and have also talked and toured several London campuses when I went over. My question is, will getting a part time job while there be enough to support me? I don t enjoy drinking, which will help cut down on costs, and I plan to make most of my meals (so only eat out a few times a month at most). I know most of the colleges/universities I m looking at provide rooms with most of what my bills would be, but any tips or information would be great! Thank you!
3 AnswersHigher Education (University +)4 years agoWhat type of music would BBC Sherlock's soundtrack be most similar to?
Hello! I was really looking for some music like the wonderful soundtrack this show was! More specifically, I was looking for songs like Irene's Theme, SHERlocked, She was Different, and I Had No One. Do you guys know any pieces close to these four songs? Thanks!
1 AnswerOther - Music4 years agoWill a single C really hurt my chances of getting into colleges?
I'm a Junior in high school and currently have an unweighted GPA of 3.9 and a weighted GPA of 4.6. However in my math class I am currently holding a 77 for the 3rd quarter. I know I still have several weeks to raise it, but I was wondering if it would greatly hurt me? It's my first C and I'm hoping to get it up, but this will really help my peace of mind. Thank you!
2 AnswersHigher Education (University +)4 years agoIssues with school?
I have a pretty big issue I need to talk about. Last year I went to an online school, and throughoutly enjoyed it. However, my parents signed me up for a public high school (it's my freshman year.) But I was forced to start two days late because so many new students were going in. I'm not a highly social person, and am use to smaller high schools, where this one is HUGE. I also know nobody here, while they all seem to know each other. None of them even have similar interests as me, which also makes me stick out even more. Last night, (which was almost my first day) I came home and physically felt sick about school. To the extent that I threw up all my dinner, and the crackers I ate to try and settle my stomach. This morning, the same thing happened this morning, and I could not eat any of my breakfast. This is how bad it is. Online though, I was completely comfortable and plenty happy to chat with the teachers and other students every day for our online live lesson as we called it, and I was pretty content with school. Now though, even the thought of it or anything related to it makes my throat tighten and my stomach get queasy and I feel like I want to cry.
Also, I suffer from severe depression. While online, if I needed to calm down, I could take a break for a couple hours to relax and feel better so I could focus, and if I cried, I wasn't embarrassed. Now, I don't have anything to help calm me down during these moments, and I'm forced to try and struggle through it.
2 AnswersPrimary & Secondary Education7 years agoMath help please?
Hello!
I'm currently working on a review and would like some one to double check this answer? The equation is y=3x+4. If the right side is multiplied by -1, how would the graph change?
The choices were
A. The x-intercept
B. The Slope
C. The y-intercept
D. The slope and y intercept.
I believe the answer is D. Is this correct? If not could you explain why it isn't, and which one is correct and why that one is correct?
1 AnswerHomework Help7 years agoQuestion about shaving armpits?
Alright, so here is my somewhat problem, and yes before you wonder I am a girl. I've been shaving my armpits for about a year or so. However, I have extremely dark hair, and even after I shave, you can see the dark hair under the skin. While it is smooth, it sill gives the appearance of not being so, even if I have shaved. I don't really want to do the whole laser/waxing/etc. I was just wondering if there was any way to lighten it. Do all females have it, regardless of hair color? My mom has mentioned it once, even though I shaved that day, and it was smooth, I was so embarrassed. Most of the time I don't really think about it, but still.
4 AnswersOther - Skin & Body7 years agoWorried about health? Nothing to worry about?
Hello! So I'm not extremely worried, however I am slightly worried. Today I started off feeling fine. However, as the day progressed, I began to get lower abdomen pains. I was using tampons, (my period just started today) and I made sure to change them every 3 hours or sooner. When I apply pressure to the area it stops hurting so much. I took some Midol, which helped a tad, but I'm not sure. Do I possibly just have gas or coming down with something? Or might it have something to do with my tampons? Thanks. c:
1 AnswerWomen's Health7 years agoWorried about getting held back for no reason?
Hello! So recently I took my final year of Nevada CRT's. I'm worried about what happens if I do poorly on one of the CRT's? (for 8th grade.) I'm pretty confident in my English, Science, and Writing, however I worry about my Math. Does it count for anything if I don't do so good on my Math? I tried hard, and think I passed, though I don't know for sure. I do get all A's on my report card (One B+ during the first semester,) so does that mean I would get held back if I didn't do so good on my Math just because of this one test? Or is it more just to reflect the school, and since I do very well on a daily basis, will likely have no real effect? Thanks!
1 AnswerPrimary & Secondary Education7 years agoWoman question-Please only mature answers?
Hello, so I have an (for me, embarrassing!) question. Right now I'm using Tampax Pearl Lite Tampons. I hated tampons, however I have been getting use to it more. So here's my problem.
Right now, they only last a little bit before I have to change, (I keep a pad on just in case,) So I think I need a better absorbancy (regular instead of lite,) But I'm worried to do so! I have a very small frame, and a tight (Is that how it's considered?) vagina. So it hurts some to pull out even a lite one, and I'm afraid a regular one would be too painful to pull out. Is there a width difference, or is it only length? Should I, or just stick to the lite ones and change more often? Thanks for your help, and sorry, I'm still new to this, so thank you for your help!
2 AnswersWomen's Health7 years agoThemed names for story?
Hello!
So currently I'm working on a short story for a school, and I need help with a couple names.
Basically I need a male name that means nightmare or something like that. However, I want it to be unique or mythical sounding. But I don't one that would easily be recognized from mythology.
My female character is in for pleasant dreams, so I need a name that's around that theme. Again, I want something unique and uncommon while having a good meaning.
Neither are humans, so how weird the names are don't really matter to me. Thanks!
3 AnswersBooks & Authors7 years agoIdeas for my birthday?
Alright, so I want some ideas for what to do for my 14th birthday. I don't want to do girly stuff, because frankly I hate that most of the time. I'm going to do a small thing, my family and a couple of close friends. I was thinking about going to go see a movie, but I'd like to see what some other people's ideas are. Please nothing super expensive or anything, just something fun to do. Thanks in advance!
3 AnswersOther - Holidays7 years agoSmall white object? (Women and medical experts only please)?
Alright, so here's my question. When I wiped, I saw a small white thing it was slim, about a millimeter thick and very short. It was only about 1 1/2 centimeters long. I was wondering if I should be worried about it. There was only one, and I did just come off of my menstrual cycle, so I'm not sure if it might be a little bit of left over, (not sure what it's called). There's no itching, I haven't felt tired nor have a lack of sleep. Should I just dismiss it, as it hasn't had any affect on me? Or wait a few days and see if it happens again, and if it does go to the doctors?
2 AnswersWomen's Health7 years agoI have family problems?
Alright, so here's my problem. I spend a lot of time in my room, or come out to play on the x-box. I do karate as well, and occasionally meet up with a friend or two. However, those friends aren't close friends, as I had to move away from my close friends. I'd be more active, except I have an disease (not contagious or anything, has to do with my heels.) so I can't or can only do it for a few minutes at a time. I don't spend all my time on my computer, I read and write and draw in my room as well. But my parents don't believe me. My siblings are all 8 or younger, so I don't really want to play with them because of the large age difference. Yes, of course I occasionally will play with them, but not all the time.
I'm not a very social person in real life, I'm more of a loner, and I'm not old enough to just go for a drive or something. So my question is, what should I do about it? They always talk about how I spend so much time on my computer, but half the time I'm reading or writing! Thanks to anyone who actually tries to help.
1 AnswerFamily7 years agoMe and my problem with mom and dentist.?
I'm scared to go to the dentist today/tomorrow, because I know what happens. The dentist makes me feel ashamed of myself, because I have soft enamel and not the best teeth. Then my mom yells and scolds me about brushing and flossing even though I DO! My dad's side has really bad health with their teeth. I've only had 1 cavity when I was around 9, where as my dad had had 2 or 3 already. My dad doesn't yell at me, but my mom does, even though she knows it comes from their side. I also have switched dentists, (not because I wanted to, I moved,) and they both said different things about my teeth. My first one, (that I really liked because he was nice) said it was probably a hereditary thing, and to just brush and floss, but my second one is like its all my fault. I don't drink anything carbonated, only water and juices, and I don't eat that much sugar either, and I don't smoke or anything like that. Can someone give me suggestions to calm down and/or get to my mom to get off my back about it? I see her point, but if its hereditary, there isn't much I can do.
2 AnswersDental8 years agoPossible health issue?
Okay so off of my other question, I really thought I should ask someone if there's something wrong with me? Or do I have some sort of disorder? Here's what I mean..
Everyone says to drink lots of liquids right? Because its healthy for you. But, I honestly cannot. I drink a little bit every few hours. (Except for when I'm exercising, then I drink a bit more.) I'd love to drink more liquids, but I seriously cannot! I've been trying for YEARS. If I try to drink more liquids, or drink more at one time, I get sick and nauseous. I haven't seen any bad side effects though? I still fell energized, not sleepy, or anything. But everyone is constantly onto me about it, but I don't know what to do!! I don't want to feel sick for the ret of my life so I drink liquids as often as everyone else. I hate carbonated stuff, tea, coffee, and I don't drink at all. So really that only leaves smoothies, (like the one's at Target), water, and juices. I don't know if there's some sort of condition for this? Any help is appreciated.
