I have a Sony Vaio laptop that runs Windows Vista. It has severe worms... The battery pack screws with the computer, two of the three USB ports no longer work and the keyboard and track pad are not functional. Right now I leave the battery out, and only have a USB mouse that I use to control the computer with and I have very limited acces to everything on it. Multiple fake antivirus programs pop up saying that I have Worm:MSIL/Necast.D and that I should pay and/or download multiple applications which I am pretty sure are riddled with viruses. 30 minutes into tinkering with the computer, I always get the blue screen of death. I usuallu have to turn it off, unplug it, plug back in and restart it. I get the prompt to enter Safe Mode, so I do so and then It fails to load up, giving me a glowing black screen. I turn it off, unplug, replug, turn on, and then it goes into Startup Recovery. After the Startup Recovery has finished, it boots back up and the popups, prompts, freezing, etc happen again.
