well to begin one of my best friends has a very horrible past.. she's lost both her parents when she was younger. Her dad died of a heart attack or so they think when she was ten and her mother was killed in an accident when she was 15. She has a half sister on her father's side who betrayed her & tries to persuade my friend to give her money from her trust fund for un-necessary things... at her mother's funeral & in the church, her father's family pushed her away literally when she went up to them for comfort over lies her half sister made up & told them... from what she's told me she hasn't had real friends or many friends of that matter. She & I became really close a couple of years ago while we began college. We have the most in common out of all the new ppl we've met. We are the two that everyone loves to watch be silly & have fun. The comedians when together.Those two peas in a pod that had the hardest time being away from each other. However we no longer really speak. She came across "love"... this guy who is very controlling of her life. She's lost most of her friends because of him.. i'm holding onto a thread. He threatens to leave her for anything she does wrong which scares her because she became sooo attached to him for the fact that she has nooo immediate family members. I was away for a semester when she met him. He seemed to be an ideal boyfriend at first until I realized it was she who was paying for everything & how he liked to play with her emotions. She is probably more in love with the idea of him. The 3rd week of them dating he wanted to marry her coincedently after finding out that she has a lot of money & land waiting for her when she turns 25. It looks as though he loves her but it could be a front. They've been together for a year now & he as she told me hates me with a passion. She is forbidden to speak to me let alone hang out with me. I believe he hates me because he wants to be the one with the power and he knows i'm the only other one that she has a tight bond with. She has to delete my txts if she ever finds a moment to respond... however lately she rarely does. It's sad... & our other friends from our group say i'm the only one who can help her or find a way to get her involved in a social life again. As of now it revolves around him & her. IDK what to do but pray for her?? I know she misses being with all of us and i know she shoulda been the one to choose her friends but she has had a very terrible past and has attachment issues... any advice in helping her?? it's hard because i have limited time.. i'll be leaving to the NAVY in a few months so i have to do something fast to at least let her know we're all still her for her without causing her bf to say he's gonna leave her and tear her apart??

I had Leukemia when i was 2 years old and i am now 18. I will never be able to donate blood but does that also exclude me from donating plasma since it is a componet of blood??
