  • What can your 6 month old baby do???? curious?

Just curious to know the milestones of other babies. My son is 10 days into being 6 months old and can sit up on his own, since 5 months old. He is getting one tooth. He can roll over and he leans forward to fall on his hands and knees while sitting up. He can turn full circles while laying on him stomach and scoot backwards. He also trys to pull himself up with any kind of support. I think he will start crawling between this month and the next. He's also very vocal and wants to reach out to everything....My little baby is every where but I think his fast development is due to his older 2 and half year old brother. He wants to be on the go just like him : )

What are your little cuties doing???? : )

  • yikes! born free bottles, avent, dr.browns or playtex ventaire?? which is best for gas?

My son is one month old and he is very gassy. His stomach is always very rumbly and he cries alot from it. I don't think he has colic or reflux, because he doesn't spit up or cry uncontrollably for three hours. I use mylicon drops and haven't tried gripe water yet. Right now he is currently breastfed and has a bottle of formula about once a day. I am using playtex drop ins but i want to try to use another bottle because i dont think they are helping any. Please if you have used any of these bottles i mentioned can you tell me what you like or dislike. Which do you think is best to help a gassy baby. Thank you!

  • Wording for " Diaper Shower" invitations?

Does anyone know of a cute message or wording for a diaper and wipe themed baby shower invitation?? This is my second baby so i have baby things that will be hand me downs but of course you can never have too many diapers and wipes.

Any ideas for cute message that ask for diapers in a non rude way?

And of course guests don't have to bring them and some wont, so is it safe to put a gift registry in the invite or not?

    Thanks!

  • Using a convertible carseat with infant?

How do you go about not using and infant carrier and base, but using a convertible carseat?

Is it hard for you, easy?

    Do you wear your baby?

Do you also have another young child?

    Stories, opinions, examples, etc.

    Thanks

The reason i ask is because i will have a 2 year old and a newborn and i'm wondering if i can manage using a convertible carseat.

  • baby name adelaide??//?

Ok here's a kinda weird question that I'm just curious about. I absolutely love the name Adelaide for a baby girl. I'm African American and my husband is Hispanic. I would love to pick that name but for some reason everyone says the name is for a white girl. What do you think??? i have a one year old son who is light skinned with brown eyes and gentle curly hair, so if i had a girl she would mostly look like this also...Do you think the name would fit?

I'm just asking opinions overall i really love this name and would pick it i just wanna know what others think.

    Thanks!

  • when did you start potty training?

I was just wondering, has anyone tried to potty train their little one around 14 -15 months old. i started to put my little one in underwear because he cries at all diapers changes, and i figured he just didnt like diapers so i'm giving potty training a go. i know some would say this is to early but i am willing and have the time.

i'm just testing this out see how it goes...

right now i have a little timer that goes off every ten minutes and i put him on the toilet with a potty seat (skipping the whole potty chair for now)

successfully he has peed three times in the toilet...he's also learning the words pee and poo so he's starting to recognize when to go..

well just wondering has any one tried to teach their child this young and were you successful. thank you!
