How much epsom salt should I use on my fish with dropsy?
My parrot fish is in a 10 gallon tank. The size of my parrot fish is 6 inches long, 4 inches tall, and 2 inches wide. I am currently changing its water every 36 hours.
I have heard so many different answers as to how much salt to add: from 1/4 teaspoon per gallon, 1 tablespoon per gallon, etc etc.
What is your opinion? Remember I'm not just leaving the fish there for 20 minutes, I'm going to leave it there for 36 hours before I change 50% of the water and add more epsom salt.
Right now, I'm doing 1 tablespoon for 10 gallons. I'm also going to add kanaplex 12 hours from now.
