I have a long list of URLs in an Excel spreadsheet and I want to delete everything but the root domain.

In other words, I want to change URLs like this: http://www.tree.com/health/sleep-disorders-treatme...

To this: www.tree.com

I want to know how much traffic to my website is generated by people who visit it because of the pictures I have there.

I'd like to make my home-brewed beer more clear... I've heard that Irish moss can do this but I'm a bit skeptical about how effective it is.

I've tried several varieties of ales (golden and amber) and they've been fairly easy to home brew. I was wondering if there is another variety of easy-to-brew beer I am missing out on.

I am not looking for any variety that is low in quality (i.e. something close to malt liquor).

Someone I know recommended I transfer the batch of home brewed beer I am working on at the moment (a golden ale) into a carboy / secondary fermenting chamber for a couple of weeks before bottling it. He recommended this after I told him that this batch starting releasing CO2 out of the airlock once every 15-20 seconds after approximately the first 10 days (a much quicker slowdown than I am accustomed to).

My questions are the following:

1) What does secondary fermentation in a carboy accomplish?

2) Do you recommend I transfer this batch of beer to my carboy for a couple weeks like my friend suggested?

I know that walking away from a mortgage will hurt your credit score, but I don't know how much it will go down by and what, if anything, the bank can do to get you.
