I want to learn chemistry that I can apply to my life. I don't want research materials or textbooks, rather I want something that's closer to a recipe book. I want to have the knowledge to make things that I can actually use.

I have become very interested in radio shows from reading a book.I think that hosting a radio show is something I could be good at...how does one go about doing this?

I need examples of jobs like this and information on how people get into these positions for a school assignment.

I like the Slacker radio app that came with windows phone,but it gives me very limited control over the stations.I can't get a Jango radio app on windows phone like I could on iOS for some reason and I want an app that will let me make a station for an artist and actually be able to add other artists to the station;Slacker will not let me do this.

I'm a skinny guy,I think it's safe to say most of my weight is bone.My metabolic rate is very high and my body is largely absent of fat or muscle.I don't really like exercises that involved a lot of repetitive movement like push-ups and weight lifting,but I can run like the wind.I have always loved running and it feels like a better exercise because I actually GET somewhere,more importantly,it's an exercise I can stay with.So I wonder if I should buy some weights that go around my wrists and ankles and start taking in protein before I go to run,but would it be an effective way for me to build muscle?

So I got this death threat on facebook from my girlfriend's sociopathic ex,but I deleted it after I read it because she asked me not to talk to that guy...He has been bothering me for a while.I'm not afraid of him because he lives far away,although I got to thinking...If I had reported him for that threat rather than deleting it, that might have ended the occational nuisance of the messages he sends me.Is there a way I can recover the message he sent after deleting the thread?Is there anything else I can do to put an end to this?He has also hacked her account on an iPod app called TextPlus and from reading the messages he's sent me, I can tell he stalks her and monitors our skype messages almost CONSTANTLY,but more than anything he seems to enjoy sending me hateful messages over facebook.I almost want to shut down my accounts on everything but the whole reason I have them is so I have contact with my girl.I want to be able to text and call her phone but her plan would charge her aunt for that.To sum it up,my main question is can I recover that threat he sent me so I can report it?But I'm open to any help with any of this...or just anything anyone wants to say,really.

I don't mean to be rude,just aiming to be honest.Other guys are assholes...They lie and cheat and only go out with girls for one thing.What I wonder is how they get girls and I don't.Do I try too hard?Because...when I like a girl...I want to be there for her and do things for her and be with her.I'm creative and...all my teachers always said I was brilliant(In this context brilliant must mean a word describing something dumb),I do my best to be kind and when it comes to those I care about,I try to tell them what they need to hear and support them...So why do girls flock toward boys who aren't even strong enough to express their own feelings and be faithful and do all the things a good relationship companion should do...Maybe I just take dating more seriously than other kids in generation.(DON'T even get me started on my stupid generation)I mean,I must be the only guy on the planet that would prefer loving and kissing one girl all my life having it mean something over kissing and being with as many girls as I can get my lips on.And I'm not gonna lie,I am protective and possessive of girls sometimes but I do my best not to objectify cause that sickens me...and honestly I think I do a good job of not objectifying females...I guess what I'm really asking is why in God's name do all the chicks go toward guys who are emotionally confused,ultra-objectifying,uncaring,hormonal train-wrecks...instead of a calm,passionate and caring guy who gets feelings so intense that...sometimes he chokes trying to describe them,yet still let's them out...Am I that much of a dork?Am I too shy?I know it can't be cause I'm unattractive cause yes,I don't look the best but I...basically look like a shorter,skinnyer version of Slash (GNR) ...and I've been told my eyes are pretty...and almost every week someone compliments my hair...So for what reason is it,that I never get noticed?Do I need to be less shy and just...get out there and do my thing,so girls might notice me and like me?
