Do the horns on gaboon vipers and rattlesnakes have a purpose, like better vibration pickup when buried in the sand?

I just can't figure out the horns, i get the Nose pits(heat vision) and tounge (smell) and eyes {movement} and internal ears by their jaw (vibrations), just not the HORNS.. please give me answers

Well I live in Illinois and commute 20 miles everyday to school on Rt. 62 otherwise known as Algonquin road. I got pulled over about a month ago for doing 55 where it was 45 and he took my license and gave me a court date which is 10/25/08.

THEN!, just half an hour ago I was pulled over going 77 in 55 in a different city 100 yards from the next county. He seemed like a nice cop but he still wrote me a citation and I had to sign an I-Bond saying something where i agreed that i understand the consequences of failure to appear for trail, and above where i signed it says "Defendant: Your release on this bond does not require posting of cash or securities for bail amount," then the cop wrote 95 in the little box next to that and then wrote it in ut in words. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT THAT MEANS?

I wasn't given a trail date, I was given an envelope with steps to follow for paying teh ticket, The cop said just show up for the court date instead of mailing in money. It's kinda strange. Also this officer screwed up my address number saying I live at 929 instead of 989.

i don't know how much the first ticket is going to be until i go to court and the judge figures that out but I'm wondering what this I-bond is and I'm wodering if there's anyway to get out of the ticket because niether the ticket nor the I-bond is issue to my home address.

So about two months a developed a really bad bad cough and sinus problems. then a week later the cough got worse until I was literally coug until I was out of breath then choking and gasping for air only to continue coughing, I saw my doctor and he told me try robitussin CF, I did no luck. then he gave me a Z-pack. (6 anitbiotic pills) that helped my upper respitory infection that he said I had....

THEN, last week a fever hit me and I mean HIT ME. shivering when I'm running a temp of 102.7^F, puking, every muslce aches, head hurts so much you don't want to move. and when i wasn't shivering and burning up I was constantly sweating, Like Im sitting in my Life Drawing class and my shirt is soaked in sweat and its just drizzling off my head. as well as waking up covered in sweat.

I'm taking 600mg of IBprofin right now and it helps but can anyone help tell me what is going on with my body?
