I'm going to Germany in a few months, to do 3 weeks of work experience. While there, I'll be staying with an exchange's partner. While there, I want to go a concert, and need to ask my partner if it's ok. Could these sentences please be translated for my email? I want the email to be perfect so they'll let me go. I'm not sure about how formal I should be. Here are the sentences to be translated to German:

1) I was wondering if your parents would let me go?

2) I would be very thankful if they would let me, but I understand it's not feasible.

3) The tickets are selling very fast, so if you could get back to me quickly that would be great!

I swim competitively, and this morning at training, there was far too much chlorine in the water. The lifeguards open the fire doors, but this jut led to huge amounts of cool air to condense into water vapour. During training, I was exerting myself and was finding it difficult to breathe. Since the session, I have had bad chest pain when I breathe, and two coughing fits where I could not breathe for a number of seconds. What can I do? Will this go away? Thanks :(

I'd like to stop my graphics card from updating while I update my computer to Windows 8.1.

I have a NVIDIA [Version 305.46] graphics card.

When I last updated to Windows 8.1, my graphics card was automatically updated too. The new update for my graphics card made all my desktop games were extremely laggy (less than 6fps, when I usually get about 50-100fps), making them unplayable. I reset my computer to factory and my games were all fine. I'd like to update my system to Windows 8.1, without updating my drivers (which caused a problem). I do not know much about graphics cards and processors. Any help please?
