  • Should there be investigations into umpires that delibrately win games for a team?

Tonight we saw umpires win the game for gold coast, in an undoubtedly fixed match.

Has there ever been a more bias display of umpiring in the vfl/afl history?

This is why in my opinion we need some sort of way to investigate and remove umpires from this sport that intentionally fix matches.

  • Proof the AFL is fixed?

Saints havent won for a long time so the umpires have given them the game.

  • What is your opinion on what the "Push in the back" rule has become?

Please dont think this is a whinge at the Geelong Vs Saints game, as it is not.

I dislike how the "Push in the back" rule has been manipulated into being any contact at all, even if the player isnt pushed. I think if you make contact with their back in a legitimate tackle, then it should be play on. "Push in the back"should only be a free kick if you actually push them in the back.

What are others opinions on this?

  • Can dockers even still make finals?

Well tonight we saw what the dockers are like without barlow, so i think they will really struggle to make finals now.

    Melbourne - Loss

    Bulldogs - Loss

    West Coast - Loss

    North Melbourne - Loss

    Sydney - Loss

    Hawthorn - Loss

    Carlton - Loss

With this draw i cannot see them winning another game, and a few of these should be thrashings, so can Dockers still make finals from 10W 12L and probably with quite low percentage?

  • Can Fremantle continue without Barlow?

Also will this be even more of a loss than Riewoldt was to St Kilda?

With Fremantle losing a few players today, namely their main star and brownlow contender Barlow, what effect will this have on their season? Personally i think they cannot be a geniune finals contender without him, as he has pretty much been their wow factor that has seperated this teams performance from the team who were terrible last year. Fremantle do not have the dept that S Kilda do, so this i feel will be far more crucial than the Riewoldt injury, as its the Saints backline that makes them so hard to beat.

Another thing to ponder is what effects this will have on Barlows career, and if he will be able to reach the heights he has so far this year, if/when he returns. We all saw what a broken leg did to Nathan Brown, who was a fantastic player before hand, however was never really the same afterwards.

  • Why dont other teams expose Geelongs major weakness?

We saw tonight just how poor Geelongs forward line truly is, and cannot deliver when the opposition floods their backline.

Why dont other teams do this against Geelong? Im pretty sure that if all teams did this, then Geelong probably wouldnt even be in the top 8, as no scoring means no winning.

  • Do Geelong have the most inaccurate forward line in history..?

They have had consistent terrible accuracy for nearly 3 years now, are they the worst ever?

  • Should i just be happy we won..?

I am thrilled we won today against Port, but i cant help but feel really disappointed about how we were just content to drop off in the last quarter and blow the decent lead we had built.

Should i just be happy we won?

  • Will we win at least one?

So with Brisbane playing worse than any afl/vfl team in the history of the game, is it possible for us to win at least one game this year?

  • Geelong to be robbed again..?

Why are the umpires so biased against Geelong?

Its only the opening few minutes of the second quarter and already Saints have more than double the free kicks.

How can one expect them to beat the opposition as well as the umpires?

  • something to think about for Geelong and St Kilda Supporters for this weekend..?

    Have a look at this from the last 7 Grand Finals in a row;

    ~ 2008 ~

    Grand Final: Hawthorn beat Geelong

Previous meeting in Rnd 17: Geelong beat Hawthorn

    ~ 2007 ~

    Grand Final: Geelong beat Port

Previous meeting in Rnd 21: Port beat Geelong

    ~ 2006 ~

    Grand Final: WC beat Sydney

Previous meeting in Qualifying Finals: Sydney beat WC

    ~ 2005 ~

    Grand Final: Sydney beat WC

Previous meeting in Qualifying Finals: WC beat Sydney

    ~ 2004 ~

    Grand Final: Port beat BL

Previous meeting in Rnd 11: BL beat Port

    ~ 2003 ~

    Grand Final: BL beat Collingwood

Previous meeting in Qualifying Finals: Collingwood beat BL

    ~ 2002 ~

    Grand Final: BL beat Collingwood

Previous meeting in Rnd 8: Collingwood beat BL

So going on the recent trend, if Geelong and Saints are to make this years Grand Final, then you will probably want your team to lose this match lol.

  • Geelong paid to loose?

I just cant see how the best team in the comp suddenly goes to playing like the worst team in the comp with out any added incentives.

Has Geelong been paid to loose?

  • Who will win AFL 2008 Grand Final?

I think going on form; Geelong.

However i realise many things can change between now and then.

Hawthorn must be a contender, being in such great form aswell.

Collingwood as the underdogs might do it, they did trash Geelong earlier in the year.

  • My computer screen will often turn itself off if i try and run a "Full Screen" game.?

If i try to run a "full screen" game, most of the time my monitor will turn itself off. i dont have any troubles with my monitor other than this. The worst one is Warcraft III, i can never open it as the monitor will turn off EVERY time without fail. Now Hellgate: London will turn off also. I downloaded latest VC drivers but to no avail. I have a Nvidia 8800 GTS VC, so it should be able to run these games fine. Could it be the monitor?
