How much do male ferrets calm down when they have been castrated?

Aside from making me incredibly tired, is there any short term danger to me staying up for 3 -4 days at a time, then sleeping for 24 hours straight? I have some severe sleep problems at the moment but im avoiding sleeping tablets because i would hate to build a dependency to them where i think i need them to sleep. I am obviously not driving or doing anything that would endanger others while im like this. I just need to know if there are any dangers to this sleep pattern short term.

Im open to upgrading it, but i was wondering what i can expect to get out of this gaming wise. Im only looking to play recent games on medium settings, will this cope? If not, could you suggest an alternative for a similar price.

When i was 7 i watched horror movies and was fine, i played virtually every violent and scary game going and that didnt phase me either, yet my friends parents thought that age ratings were there for a reason. if my friend was 17 years and 364 days old, an 18 rating was too mature. It was as if you suddenly mature when you hit a certain age, instead of from experiences and mistakes. Do you agree with age ratings, or should it be parents discretion?

I got offered a fully furnished 3ft viv for £40 the other day. I could not refuse, but this poses a problem... I have no idea what to put in it! I'm not bothered whether it's a snake or lizard. The only rule is that when the animal is fully grown, it wont need a viv bigger than 3ft (due to space constraints). I have no problem with buying smaller containers and vivs while its growing to keep it feeling safe. I was thinking of getting a couple of female leos as i already have a male in a separate viv.

We recently got a new 7 year old royal python. The woman we bought him off said he only eats every 2 months or so, not out of her not feeding him, he actually refuses the food until then. So has anybody else had a snake that ate like this? Is it uncommon? does it have any long term effects on his health?

So i've just been told via a letter from the government that because im homeschooled i get around £200 to spend on educational trips to wherever i want (museums, theatres, science labs, battlefields etc) :D. I have already picked out a few museums, but i need some more suggestions because the government is cutting the funding for it this in the summer so i have to use the money in the next few months. The only stipulations are

*it has to be at least semi-educational

*it has to be in england or wales

*and it has to be fairly interesting (no "museum of pencils" or other boring useless stuff)

Just looking for peoples views on the ever debatable subject - weed. Are you For or Against? Please give reasons for your choice, not just "Marijuana is bad cuz fox news said so".

Personally, i am all for marijuana. I believe it should be regulated under similar laws to alcohol. I.e no driving or working while under the influence, an age limit (either 16 or 18, because if you can work at 16 in the uk, why cant you drink, or in this case smoke?) specified places to smoke along with your own home, and licensed growers (for safety).

1) How old were you when you learnt the basics

2) If applicable, when would you say you progressed to a competitive level of playing

3) What sites (if any) do you use?

4) What format do you prefer? tournament, cash game or other?

5) Preferred game? (i.e no limit texas hold 'em, pot limit omaha, razz)

6) How would you rate yourself out of ten, skill wise? (compared to other casual players, not professionals)

7) When did you start playing for money online? if applicable

8) What would you say plays a bigger factor in a game of Texas Hold 'em? Luck or skill?

Just a study im doing of fellow poker players, and i needed some general idea of what you think as a community.

My answers:

2) Probably 13 or so

3) Pokerstars and Full Tilt

4) Heads up tournaments

5) No limit Texas

6) 6 or a 6.5

7) 13

8) For a professional, 100% skill, for me 75% skill ( i sometimes rely on a little bit of luck )

Any answers would be much appreciated and a great contribution towards getting in an accurate average for the community in general.

1) What do you think of the unit as a "medium range" start for a gaming pc

2) Which graphics card would you suggest, that is compatible with it? I have a budget of around £110 for it

Ok i really cannot make my mind up about two netbooks. Namely, the Acer Aspire One D250, and the Asus eee pc 1005HA. Both have very similar specs, look good (the acer in blue, and the asus in white) and are portable. So which one, ten points for the most convincing arguement. BTW, i will not buy an acer just because its an acer, ive had an eee pc and they work fine :)

ages ago i bought a Advent Roma 2000, but i have had a few laptops since then. I was digging around for something the other day and came across it. I was thinking about upgrading it so it could be used to play better games, not crysis or anything like that, just mid-high range stuff (L4D2, COD:BO on low settings). Its not going to be for performance, more a hobby. So what would you recommend upgrading? It has a s**t graphics card so that will be definate. Will i need a better processor? More ram?

im looking for a cable that would allow me to display my desktop, and any programs i run on it, on my television. I have a 42" samsung with a hdmi port, and a laptop with a hdmi port. I am not bothered about the sound, but will a hdmi-to-hdmi cable suit this? And what is the lag like? If not, can you suggest alternatives?

The last week my laptop has gradually become more and more unusable. It went really really slow, so i defragged the hard drive, and it worked for abut a day, now its gone slow again and i cant open any programs on it. It gives various error messages like Files for x program have been deleted or moved, delete it now? Or sometimes it just says it failed to launch then closes. I have avg free, which i scanned yesterday and no threats were found. I haven't downloaded anything, all updates are installed and i havent changed the key files on my laptop. I think its probably a virus, but how do i get rid of it if i cant open any programs?
