1. Mandatory comprehensive sex ed (red states in the US and blue provinces in Canada). Make comprehensive sex ed a graduation requirement for elementary schools and secondary schools.
2. Make female contraceptives more widely accessible to women than they are now. Women in the red states in the US and blue provinces in Canada don't have the access to female contraceptives, that their counterparts in the more progressive parts of the US (the blue states) and the more progressive parts of Canada (the red provinces) do and that needs to change.
3. Ban abstinence sex ed and teachings of abstinence in all schools, especially the ones in the red states of the US and the ones in the blue provinces of Canada. By doing so, it's promoting a sex-positive attitude and painting sex as something that is good, healthy and positive, and something that couples use to connect
