Where can I find a blank car loan contract online? (Nevada)?
I am looking for a blank car loan contract that satisfies Nevada law. I am doing seller financing with my used car and want to draw up a legally sound sales contract with the buyer. I will be placing a lien on the title upon delivery with the DMV.
2 AnswersCredit6 years agoCan I deduct the standard mileage rate for ongoing trips to my client's place of business?
I have just started a sole proprietorship as of the first week of January. I do mostly on-site computer repair but will occasionally, as needed, do remote work from a very small dedicated space in an apartment I rent we'll call my home office. Nothing but business related work is done there by me. As of right now I have one client, and this client will sometimes have work for me to do at their office or will ask me to visit some of his other client's offices and homes to do said repairs. So, am I allowed to deduct mileage for any trip I make to his office from my home office, because as a contractor I would assume I have no "commute" since some of my work is accomplished at home and the other work requires leaving to this client's location, and then from there going to yet another client or two during the day, or occasionally directly from my home office to one of his client's offices directly. Any knowledgeable guidance would be appreciated.
2 AnswersSmall Business7 years agoAm I a Dutch citizen?
My father was born in The Netherlands in 1942 and immigrated with his family to the US at the age of 15. I am not sure how old he was when he obtained US citizenship (I'm guessing he was over 18 by the time he had fulfilled residency requirements?). I am asking this because I am interested in traveling to Europe (The Netherlands in particular) but wanted to be clear on my understanding of my citizenship status there beforehand so as not to get into any predicaments. I would guess that he had to renounce is Dutch citizenship during his citizenship oath in the US but I'm not sure if that's renunciation is binding in The Netherlands.
3 AnswersImmigration9 years agoCan I file my 2010 taxes now?
I didn't bother filing my 2010 taxes until now. I am due a refund. My issue is that the IRS e-Filing system has been shut down and wont start again until mid January 2012. If I send in a paper form, will they process my return when they receive it or wait until mid January to process my return?
4 AnswersUnited States10 years agoWill I be able to get a small mortgage (40k)?
I want to buy a condominium for my son. The asking price is 27k, but with all the additional fees it would most likely be 30-40k. I can put 5k down. Do you have any suggestions as to what lender I should talk to about such a loan? I would be selling the condo to my son once he has improved his credit score a bit.
4 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoCan anyone with specific knowledge tell me if it is OK to force orthodontic retainers into place?
I have not worn them regularly for several years, but decided I should FINALLY follow my orthodontist's advice. The lower retainer went in without any trouble, but the upper retainer took several minutes of easing in. The retainers are now in fairly comfortably, and it feels like old times, albeit with a little more pressure. Is this OK to do?
1 AnswerDental1 decade agoWould I be perjuring myself if I claimed I met the requirements for exemption of form W-4?
I have been reading information regarding the legality and constitutionality of the income tax that is levied against the majority of Americans. Will someone with knowledge in this field kindly tell me if this would be the case? I have filed a 1040 for several years, and (seeming contrary to the law, or lack of law if you will) have paid taxes on those earnings. On form W-4, it states in part, "I claim exemption from withholding for 2010, and I certify that I meet both the requirements for exemption. 1) Last year I had a right to a refund of all income taxes withheld because I had no tax liability, and 2) This year I expect a refund of all federal income tax withheld because I expect to have no tax liability." Since I have filed a 1040 in the past, hasn't that contractually obligated me to continue filing and paying income tax? How do I remove myself from this vicious cycle, assuming I am correct in my assumption that my wages are in fact non-taxable?
6 AnswersUnited States1 decade agoHow do I learn how to file my own taxes?
I need to file for tax years 2007 and 2008. According to what I have calculated using software online, I am due a refund for both years. However, I am not sure it's worth it to me to pay $50/year for a combined state/federal filing. I would like to learn how to do this on my own. I have had several jobs (multiple W2s for each year). Lived in a state that charges income tax for part of the year (California) and a state that doesn't charge income tax (Nevada). Or, conversely, does anyone have any suggestions for free prior year tax filing software? Thanks in advance.
4 AnswersUnited States1 decade agoMy room mate has cerebral palsy. He wears the soles of his shoes down at an incredible rate. Any suggestions?
Specifically, he wears down the toe side of his shoes because of his pigeon-toed gait. Any recommendations as to a particular shoe manufacturer that provides shoes with decent slip resistance with standard styles and a high quality, wear-resistant sole?
3 AnswersOther - Diseases1 decade agoI need my cerebral shunt removed immediately. I was curious if anyone knows what complications could arise?
I have a while before I can discuss the removal process with my neurosurgeon, but I am curious to know if anyone out there has had this procedure. The shunt is deteriorating so it must be taken out small bits at a time (from the shunt that's implanted sub-cranially to the tubing that extends deep into my abdomen). I am curious to know what kind of recovery process I can expect, both in hospital and outside of the hospital. Any information would be helpful!
1 AnswerOther - Diseases1 decade agoI need help unlocking a phone locked to tmobile (blackberry pearl 8100)?
I purchased a Tmobile - branded and locked - Blackberry Pearl 8100 off of eBay. I wasn't thinking that it was locked only to the tMobile network. I called tMobile's customer care department to see if they could unlock the phone so that I may use it on Cingular/AT&T's network. They told me that they couldn't do it for me, but if I found someone with a good standing tMobile account that has been around for more than 90 days, I could have them call in on my behalf and get the unlock code for my phone. If you are interested in helping me out, please respond to my email address at g33k2003@hotmail.com. I wouldn't suggest you put your contact details on here (you can if you want) because of spam issues. I don't care about spam because that is an email i rarely use. I would be deeply indebted to anyone who can help. Thank you :)
