My iPod touch is a 2nd generation, and it's two years old and has been really acting up lately.

It's acting as though it never has any memory, I can hard restart the iPod and 20 minutes later it will freeze and I'll have to hard reset it again.

I want to restore it to see if it helps, but I'm not sure if I'm able to restore it while it's jailbroken, is it safe to just go ahead and do it?

Who is it? And how many games in a row with a TD catch?

Okay, so currently I'm in two different leagues, one with fanball.com and the other with yahoo.com

Both websites are very nice, but each have some cons.

Fanball looks great, and the drafting can take as long as possible (there's no time restrictions, which is nice because sometimes people are busy and need 2 days to pick), but you have to pay for it.

Yahoo is free and also looks nice, but the draft room forces you to pick within 3 minutes.

Does anyone know of any FREE sites, that has live scoring, and if we did an online draft, it would allow us to take as long as we want to make our picks?

I'm the commissioner of one of my yahoo leagues, and I'm really have issues with finding a date where everyone can sit down and draft, so we're going to have an offline draft.

We're planning on making picks whenever with can, with no time restrictions, and the draft will probably last for weeks.

The problem is, there's no way for people to see who has been taken, or who hasn't yet.

Does anyone know any other websites where we could draft (for free) and be able to submit players to certian teams, everyone could view these, and then I could just go into yahoo and manually put who they picked.

I don't remember much, but I know it was about a detective who was a little older, or at least had white hair, I don't even remember what he was trying to do or discover.

The only scene I can really remember is when he somehow becomes the umpire for a baseball game, and as the ball goes flying over the plate, he says strike. After that the crowd cheers, and from then on after he just yells "STRIKKKEEEE!!!!" a lot because it makes the crowd happy.

A 10 foot ladder rests against a wall, when the bottom of the ladder is 6 feet from the wall. It is moving .02 ft/sec away from the wall. How fast would the ladder be moving down the wall?

So I drew a picture of the triangle and gave everything values yadadada.

So, x = 6 (given)

y = 8 (found with a^2 + b^2 = c^2)

Hypot (I gave this the value c) = 10 (given)

Then I took the deriv of a^2 + b^2 = c^2 and found that

2x (dx/dt) + 2y (dy/dt) = 2c (dc/dt)

then I plugged in my values that I know.

2(6)(.02) + 2(8)(dy/dt) = 2(10)(dc/dt)

I know I'm trying to solve for dy/dt, but I don't know what the value of dc/dt is! What am I doing wrong, or what do I need to do in order to solve for dc/dt?

My iPod touch looks to be on the brink of death, and I'm hopping someone has some sort of clue on how to fix it.

Firstly, it won't turn on. When I try to turn it on, all I get is the Apple Logo, and the underneath it, I'll see the "loading flower" and when the flower does "load" it's usually in slow-mo. (I don't remember there ever being the flower there before...)

After showing the apple symbol and loading for approx. 10-15 minutes, the screen flashes white, and that same process repeats itself over and over.

I read online that I should connect it to my computer, and then try to restore it, which would be great, except now iTunes doesn't even recognize that my iPod is plugged in.

I also read that if this happens, I could hold the two buttons, and then continue to hold the home button, and then connect it to iTunes, but even after holding just the home button and then plugging it into my PC the ipod gets a jump start and then starts the same annoying process again.

Also, the very outside of the ipod looks like it has dead pixels all around it, because the rim of the iPod screen doesn't even light up anymore.

Is there anyway I can save this? I've had it for a year and a half, and have never had problems until now, or is it just time to go to BestBuy and get myself a new one?

The answer I got was y = 6x - 8, but when I graph it, it doesn't look like the tangent line.

To me it looks like the tangent line should be y = 6x - 11

What am I doing wrong/what is the correct answer?

My math:

Take the deriv of the equation, I got y = 6x - 6

From there I found out what b was for the tangent line using the points (1,-2) and I got -8

so..... y = 6x - 8

So what am I doing incorrectly?
