1 AnswerNotices and Errors1 decade agoHelp! I had photo negatives in a box that was accidentally left outside. Can they be saved?
The box was on a porch that leaked and then covered with a tarp and forgotten. They have been out there in the weather for a year or so and the tarp blew off. I had a lot of other things going on and forgot about the box and what might be in it. The negatives are in sleeves but look dusty and dirty and like there are some water spots. Is there a way to clean them? I am not sure I have the photos and if there is a picture I would like off the negatives I would like to try and clean them as best as possible then have one or two developed to see how they turn out. I don't want to waste to much money. I usually took pictures of things that mattered to me so I feel like they may have something on them meaningful to me. The pictures were not with the negatives so I may have just had the negatives developed and not the pictures. So how can I best get them back to their original condition? There were also some fine linens in the box, any chance of saving those too?

3 AnswersPrinters1 decade agoI have been married for nearly 20 years in california, but my husband and I were separated after only one year?
What laws are there for spousal support in a legal separation and what medical benefits am I entitled to, he says we need to stay married because he is a teacher and I will not qualify for health benefits if we file a legal separation or divorce. I know he gets the head of household tax break, but isn't there a bigger break on spousal support. As I said he is a teacher and I am permanently disabled. We live in the state of California. Thanks for any suggestions on this matter. Right now i have a PPO insurance with good benefits. It is the support that is lacking, And no I am not even looking for my fair share I just want a little closer to fair on support. I live way below the poverty level.

1 AnswerMedicine1 decade agoare the crystals I use to make jewelry dangerous as far as lead poisoning?
I use a high profile brand of Crystals to make jewelry, mostly earrings, but now I am wondering if the jewelry I am making could be toxic especially if a baby were to put any of the jewelry in their mouth. So should I print a warning label on my crystal jewelry?
1 AnswerChemistry1 decade agoI have a glass pitcher that I really like. Is there any way to fix the small chips in it.?
I can't glue the chips back in. They are gone. The piece is not valuable enough to take to a professional glassblower. Can the glass be heated with a lighter or something to melt it over? Or is that too dangerous to consider?
