I have a brand new Acer Aspire S7- 391-6413. When I listen with headphones music sounds bad, muffled kind of. The sound is fine when I'm watching a tv show or listening to anything besides music. Is there some equalizer I can turn off?

I've been doing research about which college I want to go to. So far, it's between ASU and NAU (tilted to the NAU side), but I want to keep my options open. Please tell me anything you know about these three colleges and how they compare ACADEMICALLY.

I will probably major in English. I've been looking into copy editing; it seems like a career I would enjoy. Only, I'm not sure how it would balance with my family plans, which are the main priority. Would freelance free my schedule a wee bit? I know it's a lot to ask.

I haven't been to school all week cause I got a cold. But it's better today and my friends are going to kill me if i dont go. But it never fails I always get ignored at dances and my friends always seem to find funner people to hang out with. But i've only been to church dances so I have more friends going to homecoming and a way bigger variety of guys. So....do you think I should give this dance a try?

You need to download a driver for the graphic card.. i think it is a bf nvideo 6200 card look under the computer properties. but you need to go to the graphics card website and download the new driver for vista!!! ok. it has something to do with the graphic card and windows vista they dont like each other... there is alot of blogs about it becuase everyone seems to have the same problem... just research it ok..

Ok so I always get notifications that I have mail on the bottom of my screen...and they're always Y!Answers...but when I go to my Mail they don't show up. I miss some important stuff sometimes! Why does it do this? Yes I allow mail from Answers. I can't figure out how to fix it! Help?

I just got contacts last thursday, and I still haven't gotten used to them at all. My docter said both eyes have the same persciption, but one time they switched the lenses in my glasses and it threw me way off, I had to go in and get the lenses switched, so I know my eyes are different. But the docter said it was such a small fraction that it didn't mattter, but I'm noticing it. My perceptions off and everything just looks...weird. Also I can't see well close up with the contacts. When I close my left eye everything is perfectly normal but when I close my right eye everythings off. I'm pretty sure this is do to my eyes being slightly different. So do I need to go into the eye docter and have my perscription altered? Or is this normal for contacts?

Ok, so my BMR is 1465. To loose one pound a week you have to minus 250 to your BMR. So if you minus 450 from your BMR will you loose two pounds a week, and so on? And if I burn approximatly 300 calories a day can I add that on to my BMR? Please help! And does age have anything to do with it? I'm 14

Ok, I'm 14 and 5'2 and weigh 145. I just want to burn some fat and loose weight. My comfortable pace is 3.5 and i could do 50-60 mintues on that. And today I tried 4.0 but could only go a half hour. Should I try to kill myself and go longer on the 4.0 or burn more calories and do the 3.5??

I eat healthy (i think) Cereal for breakfast and a sandwhich for lunch, and whatever my mom feeds me for dinner (ussualy a slimfast milkshake and leftovers) I don't eat much inbetween and I don't eat junk food very often.

Along with situps and crunches will I loose any weight? I want to loose 20 pounds in at least two months

I want to loose weight before school starts. I'm 5'2 and weigh about 145. Right now I'm doing 50 mintues on the treadmill at a fast walk (3.5 mpg) and I'm doing situps and crunches. Along with a balanced diet do you think it's enough to loose weight?
